Re: API - Is it possible to use element Time Prior to Event (timeprior) for inline segmentation through the API)? - Adobe Analytics 26-10-2015
I would bet that Time Prior to Event is not available through inline API segmentation. Best course would be to build as explicit segment to build into your API calls.Best,Brian

Re: Cannot get rolling dates to work for other than Sun - Sat dates - Adobe Analytics 23-10-2015
The dates with the standard Gregorian calendar are set to Sunday through Saturday. So your Report Builder formula will produce the observed results, because your rolling date range is spanning across definitions of a week (Sunday to Saturday). An alternative would be to set your rolling date range to be day granularity on your Tuesday -> Monday offset and then do custom expression work in Excel to add up by your week definition Tuesday -> Monday. You can modify your calendar at a report suite lev...

Re: Why none is showing in most of the report - Adobe Analytics 16-10-2015
'None' is simply the count of the given dimension value against the metric(s) you have pulled into the given report view. If you feel this is in error per your implementation coding design then I would explore the 'none' portion of the report and break it down by site content variable to pull apart where it is occurring on your site. In your example for instance there may be either some way to bypass UserID, UserID is not set in all cases (for those visits where a login does not occur), or you a...

Re: Mutiple Form - Views and Completions? Conversion Funnel? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Joe,Now that all custom traffic variables can be enabled with full pathing I feel that is a strong option in most of these cases. You would only have to allocate a designated 'form' custom traffic variable and then on each request you can distinguish the form and track along as users proceed through a form on each step. You can also set up the custom traffic values in a logical manner so that you can classify and group values in your reports. You can use events to track drop off and calculate ...

Re: Segment to capture visits with a change in evar value, without knowing what the evar value is/was. - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Darryn,You can try to use sequential segmentation on one level to attack, but as you note you have to know which specific eVar values are in play to specify the change from eVar X to eVar Y. There is not a way out of the box in Adobe Analytics that allows for wildcard detection of changes evarN.value != previous_evarN.value. However you could enhance your implementation to set a custom traffic value of the switch occurrence (evarX|eVarY) or set a custom event and then that would allow you to ...

Re: channelManager Plug-in Compatability with AppMeasurement - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi,I believe version 3.x of the channelManager plugin is both H-code and AppMeasurement compatible. Prior to 3.0 recent earlier versions had AM appended to the version number to indicate compatibility with AM. I would recommend looking into upgrading to a later version of the channelManager plugin to resolve. I am not familiar with the minimum version for capability, but it should indicate via AM append before v3.0.Best,Brian

Re: Merchandising Variables: Allocation - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi,The text "When the binding event selected during configuration occurs, the persisted value of the eVar is associated with the product" from the help microsite article is accurate. It is difficult to diagnose the issues with the known details. Is there a reason for binding on purchase event? Typically Cart Add and Product View are the two standard binding events. It appears the initial binding as outlined is failing entirely, yet the Merch eVar is binding later on after being set.First allocat...
