Hi Anand,There are no known issues. Suggestions for you to try are to move the staging environment to be more like the production environment step-by-step to see if you can identify the condition that is causing the problem. Dispatcher rules would be of particular interest if you're using one. You might take into account the URLs provided to your facebook app, which you should have created yourself instead of using the Geometrixx sample facebook configuration on production.- JK

Including the required clientlib is the correct answer. When using version 1.4 of social communities for AEM 5.6.1, you can reference the AEM 6.0 documentation.See this page for developers, which has information about required clientlibs, which, for Voting, is cq.social.hbs.voting.http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/social-communities/essentials/voting.html- JK

Right. The stackoverflow article virtually says the same thing - use the Community moderation console on author to delete comments. Or you can setup a workflow. This is for AEM (CQ) 5.6.1.I believe what failed was trying to delete the comment in-context on author, same as the user who posted the comment could do on publish if the comment properties were set to allow the user to delete their own comment. User generated content (UGC), which is typically entered on publish, is handled differently f...

symsoft_abdul wrote... The AEM 6.0 classic UI's siteadmin has a help link on the top right corner. Our customers click it and they get a dialog with a title: "Documentation not installed" (see attached screenshot). They think we failed to install something for them. I tried to search for a package on package to install so that this error goes away. However, I could not fins a documentation package for 6.0. I do see that in touch UI the help link actually goes to online documentation. My question...

v1.3 shipped in CQ 5.6.1.You could be using either /libs/collab/commons/components/comments (deprecated in 5.6.1) or /libs/social/commons/components/commentsA stack trace, if not a log of signing in and posting a comment, would also be of help. Could it be that the Comments code caught an exception from your custom authentication code and rethrew it?If you look at /libs/social/commons/components/comments/comments.jsp, it appears the exception would happen somewhere around here :<% if (!cs.isClos...

Let's start with the CQ/AEM version you are using. If it is CQ 5.6.1, the next question is whether you upgraded to cq-socialcommunities-pkg-1.4 or not.- JK

The cq-socialcommunities-pkg-1.7.197 is included in AEM 6.1.If you followed the instructions to migrate from CRX2 to OAK, then you should probably open a support ticket. It sounds similar to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1846.That's as much as I know. Perhaps someone else can be of more assistance.- JK

It wasUGC for the AEM 5.6.1 and earlier collab components and became obsolete.Handling of UGC underwent a change and is now stored in a common store, accessed by the Social Resource Provider (SRP) in AEM 6.1. The mention of UGC Reports is a "bug" and has been removed from the doc page (thank you).- JK

I have new information. If you read http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14973790/blacklisting-servicereference it sounds like you need to use timeout=0 to avoid blacklisting, not “ignore timeouts”. Look for the warning mentioned to see if there is blacklisting. If so, the preferred answer is to use jobs: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19513315/how-to-avoid-blacklisting-my-eventhandler-through-apache-felix-event-admin-imple- JK

There was a bug in the Overlay Comments Component tutorial which has been fixed. The tutorial used to say the Super Type could be left blank. Instead, the Super Type should be set to the same value as the Super Type (sling:resourceSuperType) of the component being overlayed.See if that doesn't fix your problem.Note that the Extend Comments Component tutorial will be updated by the end of the week.- JKOther links:Client-side CustomizationSCF Tutorials

The Blog feature did not change from 5.6.1 to 6.0 because it needed to be reworked into the Social Communities Framework (SCF). In AEM 6.1, the Blog components and templates are deprecated and the Journal components have been renamed the Blog feature (a feature named 'Journal' no longer exists).Since the Blog feature was not updated in 6.0, it still uses the deprecated Comments code. It's only a warning. Why was this done? The 6.0 and earlier implementation of the Blog feature was template based ...

By design, it is no longer possible to replicate ACLs from the author instance to the publish instance as there are usually different access rights. As of AEM 6.1, it is possible to use Sling Content Distribution to synchronize users and user groups. While I'm aware of the description in the AEM Communities section, see User Synchronization, it is applicable for all users and user groups.- JK

You appear to be using the (deprecated) collab comment component from AEM 5.6.1 social communities v1.3, which used nt:unstructured for the node type. - - -NOTE : Social Communities, now known simply as Communities, has been undergoing a transformation. You can upgrade to the new Social Component Framework (SCF) on AEM 5.6.1 by installing v1.4 and migrating your custom components. You might be able to use sling:resourceSuperType as a way to implement indirection. You create a test component that has no implementation, its implementation comes from what it inherits from its sling:resourceSuperType.1) create component /apps/myapp/components/pages/test1 this is an actual test containing the implementation of test12) create component /apps/myapp/components/pages/test the only thing test has is property sling:resourceSuperType = /apps/myapp/components/pages/test13) in test pag...

SocialUtils is only marked deprecated as of AEM 6.1. You can use these methods while paying attention when replacement information is available. That information would be made available in release notes, but also likely in the AEM Communities developer section of the documentation, such as http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/develop/communities/scf/srp.html#Method to Access UGCHope this helps.- JK
