Re: Default values in Dropdown-lists - Adobe Campaign Standard 03-09-2014
Hi Linda, thanks for your answer. The solution works for the templates "New campaign" and "Recurring campaign", but not for the template "Periodic campaign". If I change the messageType value from "127" to "0" (E-Mail) this error message occurs:"You must specify a program."What do I have to do?There is also another question concerning this topic. When I change the messageType from "127" to "0", furthermore there is the value "(non specified)". This value is defined in a factory-configured object. ...

Default values in Dropdown-lists - Adobe Campaign Standard 02-09-2014
Hi,I've got a question concerning default-values in Dropdown-Lists.When I am open a new marketing campaign form I can choose a main channel. By default "(Non-specified)" is selected. By reason that about 90%+ of my campaigns are in the main channel "E-Mail", I would like to chose "E-Mail" as the default value.I analyzed that the form refers to the schema "nms:operation", which is a factory-configured object. In fact of this information I have to create an extension object. The XML of the extensio...

Hi Linda,I am curious about the information from the internal consulting team. It seems to be a non-trivial question. In between I followed your advice to create a Deployment package and export the Operator access rights. I already started to analyze the XML-file, but there are some parameters I do not know. What is the difference between INHERIT and PROPAGATE?In my opinion the meaning is the same!? Inherit and propagate means that ancillary elements are going to get the right. Right? Can I as...

Re: Named Rights for Plans, Programs and Campaigns - Adobe Campaign Standard 28-08-2014
Hi Linda, thank you for your answer!I already thought about using the INSERT, EDIT and DELETE FOLDERS named rights to control who can create Plans and Programs. But I am quite not sure, if I can use these named rights for this matrix:Is allowed to manage a...AssociateManagerSupervisorPlanNoNoYesProgramNoYesYesCampaignYesYesYesIf the manager owns the named right INSERT, he will be able to define plans. Is that right? But in the business need that would be wrong. In the preferred way I will do the ...

Named Rights for Plans, Programs and Campaigns - Adobe Campaign Standard 28-08-2014
Hi,in a real world scenario I have to implement three different operator groups named "supervisor", "manager" and "associate".Each operator group has different rights to implement a marketing plan, program and campaign:The supervisor is allowed to define everything. The manager is allowed to define programs and campaigns. The associate is allowed to define only campaigns. At the moment I have implemented every operator group. That was without any difficulty. Now I have to define the differnt rights...
