Thank you!! adobe.com LiveCycle Designer and Acrobat AcroForms use two very different approachesto form design. LiveCycle Designer is the successor to JetForms that wasacquired by Adobe to allow for the use of XML forms. And there is limitedcommonality between the 2 products for form design. Further, users needversion 5.01 of Acrobat or Reader to use forms created by LiveCycleDesigner.These state will find there will a number of users who will not be able touse these forms.

Don't show LiveCycle field name properties in Acrobat - Adobe LiveCycle 15-10-2009
Hi, We use pdf forms from states websites in our claim system and map to claim data to prefill some of the forms. One states forms are created in LiveCycle. I can change the field names in LiveCycle to our mapping names, e.g. EmployeeFirstName, but when I open the form in Acrobat, I see all of the LiveCycle properties, e.g. topmostSubform[0].Page1[0].EmployeeFirstName[0]. Acrobat won't allow me to change the name. Is there any way to get rid of the LiveCycle properties so all that shows in Acrob...
