Re: Conditional Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 06-04-2011
In older versions scripting is the only option. You would do something like this if you are using JavaScript:switch(xfa.event.newText) { case 'A - Approved': form1.Page1.2nd_Title.presence = "visible"; form1.Page1.2nd_Signature.presence = "visible"; break; default: form1.Page1.2nd_Title.presence = "hidden"; form1.Page1.2nd_Signature.presence = "hidden"; break;} Of course, you would need to add/change your field names and what action you want to happen: visible/hidden etc.Debbie"Life is half spen...

Re: Conditional Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 05-04-2011
If you are using livecycle ES2 you can use the action builder. From the top menu bar click on Tools, Action Builder and add an action with a condition and result. You can show/hide fields on your form based upon the value in another field. Debbie"Life is half spent before we know what it is."George Herbert

Re: How does one change a "rollover" value in a text field of a fillable PDF? - Adobe LiveCycle 01-04-2011
When you click on the field, right click to properties. If the tab isn't there then go to the top toolbar, click on Window and it should appear in the list there. Once you click on it in the Window menu it will appear as a tab on your properties box.

If you have created this in Livecycle take a look at the Accessibility tab in the properties of the field and see if the tool tip is what is showing.

Re: How to make a field dependent on a drop down list - Adobe LiveCycle 29-03-2011
You could go this route. See the code behind the dropdown on the left inside of the form. Debbie

Re: Date/Time driving me nuts. How to set Time automatically? - Adobe LiveCycle 21-03-2011
Test if the field is null before assigning the current date. // form1.page1.currentDate::ready:layout - (FormCalc, client) if (this.isNull) then $.rawValue = Concat(Num2Date(Date(), "MM/DD/YYYY"))endif Deborah

Perhaps the forums do not allow attachments. If you have a personal email address just send it using that. Deborah
