Re: "Event not covered" for transactional message Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
You do not have to install them on separate instances; Message Center can work either way. From what you have shown me, it appears that things are configured correctly. If you would like to request office hours, we could look around your instance and I can see if anything looks unusual. You might want to try making the API call with the minimum set of rtEvent attributes. I think only email and type are needed. Just in case the API call is trying to match on any other information that you are inc...

Re: Incremental query and wait Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Susanna, Can you say what you are trying to accomplish with such a configuration? I don't see any advantage to this approach over just running the Incremental query once a week. You can actually set up your own workflow to test what happens in this case, but I don't think what you are suggesting would be the recommended approach, unless you are planning some other treatment for the records in the workflow prior to the Wait activity. In that case, I might suggest creating two separate workflow...

Hi Rohan, You can use the WriteCollection method on xtk:session. Here is an example, but I have not confirmed that it works as written: This is from the documentation: Data oriented APIs Linda

Hi Hermann, You are correct that the Event not covered error means that no Template is being found that matches the event type specified in your SOAP call. Do you have separate Control and Execution instances? Did you successfully publish your Template?Linda

Re: What is the best way for import data(daily scheduled) to adobe campaign? FDA or (File collector and import avtivity) Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
FDA does not import the data. Tables in the external database are directly read from/written to by Adobe Campaign. Using FTP and File Collector is the way to go for actually importing data.Linda

Hi Alistair, I asked this question on one of our internal Dls and below is the answer that I got. Let me know if this answers your question.Regards, LindaFirst of all, a client mustn’t alter the deployment wizard configuration except if they are using on premise platform.By default, techOps configure “*@domain.tld” sender mask, so they can use “xxxxxx@domain.tld” as sender email address.Note they must have delegated “domain.tld” (or configure it properly if it’s an on premise client) if they wan...

Re: Continuous delivery vs. recurring delivery Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Susanna, The difference between a continuous delivery and a recurring delivery is in the way that the results are managed. A Continuous delivery will create a single delivery and add Delivery logs (broadlogs) and Tracking logs on to that same delivery each time that the activity executes. The Recurring delivery will create a new Delivery each time that that the activity executes. So for example, if you run the workflow once a week, you would end up with 52 deliveries after a year if you used ...

Hi Abhishek, Yes in fact you can group data in the table. Here is a screen shot showing how to access the option:The Reporting class that is posted under Additional topics in the Developer learning path explains how to do this in more detail. The editor is the same for the Table widget in both ReportBuilder and the Web application editor.Regards, Linda

Re: Adding a Date Range to Tracking Indicators Report? Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi David, That is the approach that I would explore as well. It is a best practice to duplicate rather than directly modifying the out of the box report, so good for you for thinking of it! The only possible gotcha would be if the report is based on preconfigured aggregates in which case you would need to put the date filters on the aggregator. I am not sure if that is the case or not.Linda

Re: How to differentiate the campaigns Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Generally the campaign tactic is encoded in the workflow logic rather than being an attribute on the campaign. There might be a way to query the campaign to find out if there was a Signal or Scheduler activity in the workflow, but keep in mind that campaigns can have multiple workflows and you wouldn't really know how the activity was being used. It is possible to extend the schema for campaigns to add an attribute as to the campaign type, but you would be relying on the user to set the attribut...

Re: Many to Many Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
You need to create an intermediary table to store the relationship and any other attributes that you want to add to qualify the relationship. Example of this can be found in the out-of-the-box schemas in the Operators access rights on folders table. The N:M table will have a 1:N link to each of the two entities involved in the relationship and will have one entry for each such relationship.Linda

You will need to provide more information. Have you looked at the workflow journal? Please copy and paste an image of the workflow journal telling what the error is.Also an image of the workflow diagram. If the workflow is a Technical workflow rather than one you created, you can try restarting it.Linda

Re: Unable to run workflow Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Venkatraj, You are trying to start the wfserver process which is needed in order to run workflows in Adobe Campaign. You are doing this on the server machine, so assuming this is a VM or an on-premise installation. It appears that you have configured Adobe Campaign to work with an Oracle database and it can't find the dll for Oracle. Can you locate the .dll and make sure that its location is in the path environment variable? If that does not help, please contact technical support.Regards,Linda

Re: Problem in Creating new Schema Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
Which is the schema that you are creating? All schemas must have a primary key defined. It sounds like either the schema you are creating or linking to does not have one. Also, keep in mind that when multiple developers are working on the data model at the same time, you can see other developer's errors in addition to your own when you save. Can you post some of the XML?Linda

Re: How do you use Named Rights? Linda_Stinson - Adobe Campaign Standard
You can use named rights to grant access to a particular Form widget for example a custom action button that you have defined in an xtk:form. You can check in the form xml if the current operator HasNamedRight. You don't really use named rights to grant folder access. That is done by membership in an Operator Group.Linda
