  • Had a similar issue to this one just yesterday, for some reason as soon as the form was opened Reader consumed about half a gigabyte of memory, which would completely lock up some older machines. We tried the new Designer 8.2 SP2, and when the form was open, re-saved in a new name and re-opened Read...

  • Looks like the Knowledge base was temporarily down, because it seems to be back now.

  • This is a bit similar to a problem I had about a year ago... I believe my error may differ slightly because I was using the SQL Server 2005 edition of the driver:http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=60&catid=583&threadid=1289201&messageid=4664480The workaround I ended...

  • My bad, the server product forced me to download the file and open standalone when I tested, hence my incorrect assumption. Apologies.Well it's useful to know for future reference that there are no differences between email submissions from a document extended in Acrobat and one from the full Reader...

  • I'm sure that LiveCycle Designer can create forms to meet all of those requirements. Unfortunately I personally don't have the time to write a specific guide for all of those tasks but perhaps someone on the forum might.Instead I'd recommend taking a look at "Creating Dynamic Forms with Adobe LiveCy...

  • This will create a button which works correctly in Acrobat, but you will find that nothing happens when users on Adobe Reader click it. After you make the button you will need to open the file in Acrobat 8 Pro, then select "Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" from the Tools menu then save the new f...

  • You can do it on XML Source view, but it's a bit complex. <br /><br />Disclaimer: I would only suggest doing this method if you have a vast number of items to paste in (and even then it may be worth considering if there is any way to eliminate the need to do this in your design, as large drop down...

  • No, the only thing is that the script must be set to Javascript and not Formcalc from the drop down at the top corner of the script editor, but I would think you've already done this or the || wouldn't work either.If you navigate to the exact Line/Column indicated by the error message, is it actuall...

  • It doesn't work, it just gives the label. While I was testing that I stumbled across a one liner which does work, and I wish I'd found earlier!In the change event:> DropDownList1.boundItem(xfa.event.newText);
