Make Button cells in a table print & display differently - Adobe LiveCycle 01-08-2012

Is there a way to make a Button cell print a single line for the border without printing the text, and still make it look like a button on the screen? By still looking like a button, I am looking for a raised border and grey background. Basically I want to set attrinutes for printing different than the display.screen attributes. I am sure this could be done with code, but was hoping for something cleaner.Karl

Ugggh!!! I set the File->Properties Default : Server PDF Render Format to dynamic and didn't do the Save As. I guess that vacation wasn't so good for me after all... Thank you.Karl

Much appreciated!The Delete button was more to make sure one could delete these outside a button in the actual row and I see I had the index wrong such that I was deleting the second row and not the first. I had toyed with using this as a hidden button if I could pass the index to the event's function.I had not thought of adding the reference to each row as a variable. Hi,If you set the Display Pattern to time{h:MM A}, then entering 15 will give you 3:00 PM.I don't think you will be able to get a single digit (eg 9) to be recognised as a valid time. Niall

Hi, That shouldn't matter, provided the hierarchy structure is the same, eg the same number of parents to get to the repeating object. Also in your script the removeInstance parameter being expressed as "this.parent.index" wouldn't work, as the function does not know what "this" is. In my version it might need nother .parent, depending on your structure. Niall
