Number of tasks due vs. actually completed per week - Workfront 03-01-2017
Hello. I need help with a chart that shows the number of tasks due vs. actually completed per week. Ideally, the Y (left) axis would be the count and the X (bottom) axis would be a date with a stacked or grouped bar chart showing number of tasks with a planned completion date (grouped by week) vs. number of tasks actually completed on a given date (grouped by week). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Resource Leveling Question - Workfront 21-12-2016
Hello, I have two resources that are only available part time. I've adjusted their FTE to be less than 1 but when I do manual leveling (via Legacy Gantt or Team Builder), they are being allocated work greater than their FTE value. I don't have any constraints that would be forcing the dates to complete by a certain time - everything is set to start as soon as possible with no fixed dates. Does anyone have any advice on how to get WF to level based on FTE or something similar without setting fixe...

Re: Scheduled Reports - Don't send $$USER.ID Reports - Workfront 14-12-2016
Ryan - copying isn't a big deal but it creates a lot of extra noise in the list of reports. This gets really messy because there isn't an easy way to separate them - for example. If there is a An Open Task report, copying it means that we have to have Jim's Open Task Report and Mary's Open Task Report, etc. And in there are scenarios where you just want the title to be "Open Task Report" without having the customized title show up on everything. Aside from that, maintenance becomes a nightmare. ...

Re: Scheduled Reports - Don't send $$USER.ID Reports - Workfront 14-12-2016
That will work for some users but not for everyone. We have some internal customers that just aren't going to go into the system (like our CEO). They want an attachment that they can open on their phone when they have a chance to take a look.

Re: Using Agile Project View data in reports/dashboards - Workfront 14-12-2016
I understand. My CIO liked WF because it supports our Agile and Waterfall teams and he was expecting the system to be able to report on both. If I find a way to deal with this, I'll share it here.

Re: Can you create a dashboard or view with multiple burndown charts for all Agile teams? - Workfront 14-12-2016
bumping the bump. The system is allowing us to manage the project with burndown charts so we have to be able to deliver reports based on that methodology. A dashboard of burndowns is common sense from an executive point of a view and a great idea.

Agreed. Would love the ability to embed burndown charts in dashboards.

Re: I wanted to see what kind of feedback is out there for the Outlook add-in...anyone have comments? - Workfront 05-12-2016
We have a strong interest in the add-in but it's not reliably showing up after it's installed. Users are on Outlook 2010. So far 2 users have it installed and working; everyone else can't see it after installation. We've been exploring the possible cause with no luck and Support hasn't been able to help us, either. Has anyone run into this issue? Thanks in advance for any help or ideas

Re: Entering unplanned weekend work in timesheets - Workfront 22-11-2016
Thanks for the help. We figured it out. Timesheets are created on Mondays. Even so, Sunday shows up as the first day of the week on the timesheet. However, the Sunday that shows up as the first day of the week is actually the last day of the previous period. The user can't enter time on that Sunday because it belongs to the previous period. It's just confusing and would be great if the user's time period matched how their timesheets were generated. At the very least, past dates shouldn't show up...

Re: Document CheckOut feature being removed from WF - Workfront 21-11-2016
I'm really happy to hear this. We're just getting into our adoption and version control was important for us. We're going to build up to it but we needed it to be there. We're currently using a locally hosted SharePoint and WF only integrates with Azure, as far as SharePoint goes. The ability to move towards WF is a great thing. I'm trying to centralize as much of our work in WF as possible and version control is mandatory for that to happen. Thanks for listening to the users!
