Re: Column showing original issue requestor - Workfront 06-09-2018
Thanks for the help! Ultimately, I was hoping to avoid using a collection so I'd be able to sort and group by original requestor, but this is (at the least) very helpful for our account managers. -j John O'Sullivan GAF

Re: Column showing original issue requestor - Workfront 06-09-2018
For this report, regrettably no. I have done this before, using a Task Report which displays the resolved project. John O'Sullivan GAF

Column showing original issue requestor - Workfront 05-09-2018
I'm generating a project report and I want to display the person who made the original request before it was converted into a project. This is probably simple and obvious, but my mind is just serving up nothing. I think they sucked my brains out at hospital this week. Sorry for a noob question, but I'm putting up the white flag for now. -j John O'Sullivan GAF

Reporting upon the amount of time a project is in a particular status - Workfront 14-08-2018
At GAF, we use statuses which are equal to Current in order to accurately reflect who has what (e.g., "With Owner," "With Content," "With Design," etc.). I know the system is listing when the statuses change within the system updates. It would be great if we were able to report upon the data to see how long projects have been in a current status. Is this possible? John O'Sullivan GAF

Consolidating proof versions in a Document Version Report - Workfront 30-07-2018
Hi all, I created a Document Version report which shows any proofs which required five or more rounds of approvals. (It's part of our revamped "CYA Dashboard.") The main problem is that if a proof has nine versions, it shows Versions #5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in the report, instead of just showing version #9. Is there a simple way of "collapsing" the proofs so it only shows the most recent version? (I'm sure there is, but I've got Vacation Anticipation Syndrome right now and I'm not at 100% brain power...

Re: Groupings and/or sorting by a custom - Workfront 28-06-2018
I figured that was the case, but was ever-hopeful that it wasn't. Back to the drawing board! Thanks! -j John O'Sullivan GAF

Groupings and/or sorting by a custom - Workfront 27-06-2018
Hi all! I've been using this code within project reports to show whomever is assigned as a designer in a project: displayname=Designer linkedname=direct listdelimiter=‍ listmethod=nested(projectUsers).lists textmode=true type=iterate valueexpression=IF(CONTAINS("Designer",{user}.{role}.{name}),{user}.{name}) valueformat=string Now, this is pretty crescent fresh and it does a good job. My question: Is there a way to sort this data? Ultimately, I'd love to group the Designer names or sort by using...

Grouping a report by Status Order - Workfront 08-06-2018
Hey, Quick question: We have an active jobs report for our account managers. We recently added a bunch of new statuses to help us fine-tune our process (thanks, LEAP!). Ultimately, we'd like to have these grouped in the order of dropdown menu of statuses: Is there an easy way of doing this that my end-of-the-work-week brain isn't able to conjure? Column which shows designer - Workfront 11-04-2018
Hi all, I'm still a bit of a noob with advanced reporting. (I did the advanced reporting course right before we went live with Workfront. Probably need to do again.) Also, I'm guessing I'll figure it out after I post this question. Which always happens. So here's what I want to do: I have a user who wants a project report with a column showing the project's designer(s). Basically, it'd show anyone with the Workfront job role of Designer within a particular project. The easiest way would be to ad...
