Re: Date Diff: Start On-Actual Start Date/Due On-Actual Completion Date - Workfront 01-04-2020
Hi Christina, Well I was referring to Tasks in that response. For Projects it appears the Actual Start Date is unchanged by the Status change to Current. I believe it simple reflects the date the project was created and is unphased by any changes to the Planned Start Date or underlying tasks. Re: Templates - Assigning a Parent Task - Workfront 19-03-2020
Just thought of something else. Are you both using Chrome? I've sometimes seen IE or Edge missing some selections.

Re: Templates - Assigning a Parent Task - Workfront 19-03-2020
You would need a Planner license. So if the other person has a Plan license and you have a Work license, that would be the result. I assume you have a Plan license (or Admin) since you created a Template, but just thought I'd throw that out just in case.

Re: Project Status - Workfront 17-03-2020
We don't have any projects that have been cancelled by the virus (yet), but if and when we do, I would handle as you have depicted here. We would put the Project Status to On Hold. If it's Cancelled I'd move it to 'Dead'. For Capacity Planning purposes, for the On Hold project I would also update the tasks to show the dates we think it might restart (understanding that date may change 12 times between now and the end of the crisis). But we would just keep it up to date with the information we ha...

Re: Updates not being sent via email - Workfront 13-03-2020
I got a voice mail from WF a little earlier that indicated they were reverting some code that was pushed out that they believe caused this issue. It appears that this has fixed the problem for us (again CL01). Hoping it resolved it for others as well.

We're on Cluster 1 and we're seeing the same thing. I'm about to call WF now.

Re: Portfolio Optimizer Missing???? - Workfront 09-03-2020
I think I solved the mystery of the missing Portfolio Optimizer. With the licensing change WF implemented this year, it appears it requires a higher plan. We use Pro (which apparently means we lost this feature).

Re: Project Implementation Dates - Workfront 04-03-2020
Ha ha – I love the Big Important Date term. Yeah Erich hit me up anytime. In fact [insert shameless plug ] we are presenting at Leap this year on how we use the API on Projects. It's a Technical session called - Using the API for Project Hygiene and it's on Monday 4/27 at 1pm local time. I'm sure it's completely sold out so you might have to try Stubhub or find a scalper at the conference . JK I'm sure there are spots. I might add - Big Bad Diggity Dang Immovable Date to my slides (I'll have to ...

Re: Question about tagging project teams - Workfront 03-03-2020
Hi Alex, I'm actually seeing people with a Work license able to use that function. As long as they have View access to the project I'm seeing it show for them. Not sure what's happening on your instance. Are you hitting the People tab during your testing? I realize this is a "is it plugged in" question , sorry, just want to check the easiest solution before asking about access levels etc. Because I don't know of or see any access level settings that would control this. But maybe someone else kno...
