Re: Idea Exchange Promotion - Workfront 18-02-2020
If you use expenses please upvote this... hide or delete default expense types. The defaults cause a lot of confusion for my team since accounting uses different labels to track expenses. https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSfxAAG/detail Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: Dashboards vs. Home - Workfront 17-02-2020
Hi Kevin, For tasks we use My Work (not sure if that's an option for new customers). We'll transition to Home when the updated filters and sort options for tasks becomes available. We tried dashboards but they are not interactive (i.e. we like Home's one click to view more details on the task or post updates). We have already gone through three other project management tools that were similar to dashboards and my team was very unhappy with those. We use dashboards for reports and views into proj...

Team feedback: looks like smartsheets or microsoft project - Workfront Archived Groups 12-02-2020
My team is still using My Work. I've recently showed them the New Experience and their first reaction was "ugh we are going back to smartsheets". It lacks color and design. It's only an excel list. Don't make us change. So for creatives the look and feel will be a big hurdle to overcome in adoption. Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: My Work vs. Home - Workfront 23-01-2020
Home needs to have the ability to sort by start date in order to have any use to my team. I'll be very unhappy if they discontinue My Work without making updates to Home. I've been watching and waiting but as of now I'm seeing no improvements being made. Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: Workfront Proof: Checkbox in-system to mark change as made - Workfront 22-11-2019
There is a checklist function in the Workfront Proof HQ. My designers use it to confirm that they have made all of the requested changes. Is that what you are looking for?

Re: Bug in 2019.4 Release: Team Working On Calendar - Workfront 21-11-2019
Hi Kyna, I have to agree with Trudie that the frequency of Workfront releases that do not seem to be fully vetted is tiring on my team. We have never even moved to Home because of the large gaps in its usability and suddenly there is the "New Experience" that is being pushed. Workfront needs to focus on getting one thing correct before they move onto the next shiny penny or Workfront is going to face having to keep many legacy systems alive for many many years because of a lack of adoption to th...

Re: How to Remove Gridlines from Projects - Workfront 19-11-2019
Hi Lilit, I just want to say our team likes the grid lines but everyone agrees there is too much padding. Grid lines should allow items to be more tightly packed but instead it seems they added space instead of saving it. Aileen Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: Google calendar integration - Workfront 22-10-2019
Hi Chandler, Is there any update on the google calendar integration? With the big announcement at LEAP that Workfront was on-boarding Google it seems like this would have already been done. Thanks Aileen Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: Frozen Project Percent Complete - Workfront 21-10-2019
We also have this problem. After spending some time with Workfront's customer support the only answer they gave was to recalculate the timeline. It didn't sound like they thought it was a large problem with the system. Aileen Aileen Taylor Cell Signaling Technology

Re: Idea Exchange Promotion - Workfront 09-10-2019
Hi Vic, That is exactly how we thought Work On It behave but the button doesn't actually work that way. If someone clicks "Work On It" the planned task dates will not change even if the predecessors are done early. We had a project running three months early but no one downstream of the writer knew that because she had clicked "Work on It" for all of her tasks and thought she had three months before starting work. It makes sense because the person is saying they will work on the task so the syst...
