Re: Automated workflow: How to ensure a stage that has already approved a document doesn't get it upon a new version of the proof? - Workfront 23-08-2021
Did you ever figure this out? We are having the same issue now with automated workflow and I am trying to figure out how to bypass previous stages rather than restarting the review process all over again.

How to not restart from beginning stages with automated workflows when adding new version - Workfront 05-08-2021
I feel like this is a basic question, but we are having an issue regarding adding new proofs. We have just implemented automated workflows and every time a person adds a new proof, the workflows starts from the beginning stage when in reality we only want the current or next stage in the process to be notified of the new version. Is the solution just un-checking the "notify users via email" option when adding the new version? Or is there another way to do it? I feel like the answer is probably v...

Duplicating Automated Workflows Stage - Workfront 28-07-2021
I am setting up an Automated Workflows process for one of our teams - they'd like to have the reviewers in the first stage also review the final version after the other stages have completed. Is there a way to do this outside of just re-activating the first stage? We don't want the entire workflow to restart, we just need the reviewers to give their approval on the final creative.

Re: Using Workfront with an outside marketing agency? - Workfront 09-11-2020
I agree with Jennifer - our agencies have been working with our programs for years, so they're pretty in tune with our needs and we worked with them to build out the processes we currently have so it would best embody as well as improve the work they do for us.

Re: Using Workfront with an outside marketing agency? - Workfront 08-11-2020
Hi Kyna! We use outside vendors for the creation of almost all our marketing pieces, so Workfront is crucial to the approval process for us. I don't know if that's exactly the situation you're looking for, but I would say the biggest help is to set clear processes for how you want the work done within Workfront and work with the agencies to make sure those processes are the best way to get the work done on both sides. We also do extensive tracking of the pieces once they're in Workfront and goin...

Thank you @Skye Hansen‚ and @Doug Den Hoed‚ ! I will look into both of your suggestions and see which one works out best for the metrics I'm tracking. I appreciate it!

Re: Tracking Document Reviews - Workfront 30-07-2020
Hi Doug, These are document approvals; there several metrics I track manually for each project, but this one in particular deals with how long a piece has been on a specific reviewer. Our process allows five business days per reviewer, so I track that currently in an Excel sheet by putting in the date their review is due, and when they do review, putting in the number of days they took to review. This information is used on scorecards for monthly reporting. I hope that answers your question, but...

Tracking Document Reviews - Workfront 29-07-2020
I currently track all of our department's Workfront review times in a spreadsheet but have been looking for some time for a way to track it using Workfront's reporting features. So, currently, I put in the spreadsheet the date the review is due, and once the review takes place, I replace that with the number of days it took, with conditional formatting to color code if the person has gone past their allotted review time. I can sometimes spend 2+ per day tracking all our projects, as we have mult...

Users being removed/resetting with new versions - Workfront 12-05-2020
For a while now we have been having issues when a new version of a proof is added that the reviewers and approvers are either being removed completely from the proof or their SOC details are being reset completely. They are still able to go in and click the Approve/Changes/Reject buttons and are still showing on the document details list as needing to approve, but when you open the proof details their SOC info is completely reset or they've been removed from the proof. Also, when new versions ar...

Re: Calendar - Only See Projects Not Tasks? - Workfront 06-02-2020
Hello! When you go to add a new item to the calendar, and you click on "Advanced Options" underneath the field that pops up, it will take you to the pop up screen for more details. There you can just click on "Projects" rather than "Tasks" and then use the drop down box to select how you want to choose which projects to show "aka Project Name" or "Project Owner." You can also select "On the Calendar, Show" and select "End Date" or "Start Date" so it only shows up once. Or you can have it show up...
