Re: Suggestions for Formal HTL, JAVA and Javascript courses in AEM set up for beginners? - Adobe Experience Manager 29-09-2021
Hi ManuMathew1994, Thank you for the link. I've gone through most of these but I'll run through them again. I've actually gone through the WKND Tutorial and I've had Adobe's four day course "Develop Websites and Components in Adobe Experience Manager" as well. I was looking for a "step-up" now; a course that will take me through some more advanced features and component creation - hands on preferably.

Hi Lavanya_Pejjayi, Thanks for the links to Adobe's documentation. I guess I should've been a bit more clear in my messaging. I still consider myself a beginner but, I've gone through the WKND Tutorial and read a good chunk of all the documentation. I've gone through Adobe's Four day course "Develop Websites and Components in Adobe Experience Manager" as well. Suggestions for Formal HTL, JAVA and Javascript courses in AEM set up for beginners? - Adobe Experience Manager 28-09-2021
Hello Community, I need to learn HTL. I'd like to learn how the whole system works, specifically adding/editing components with varying degrees of logic. Anything from adding new functionality to an existing component to creating a new component from scratch. My question, as a noob is, are there any courses/boot-camps out there that teach this stuff? HTL, JavaScript, JAVA and Sling and how it all integrates within the AEM system? Any information is greatly appreciated Thanks!

Re: AEM 6.5.8 Icons not showing on Start page? - Adobe Experience Manager 28-09-2021
Hi asutosh_jena, I'm not sure where to start with the first stackoverflow link? There are several solutions in that post. Where can I find the CSS files in the AEM instance? As for the second link (you provided), it doesn't look like it applies to AEM? Any more assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Asutosh_jena, This is what I'm getting in the console: Refused to apply style from 'http://localhost:4502/etc.clientlibs/clientlibs/granite/typekit/resources/ruf7eed/c/ruf7eed-d.css' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.granite.min.js:259 [Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatw...

AEM 6.5.8 Icons not showing on Start page? - Adobe Experience Manager 27-09-2021
Hello,I started my Local AEM instance on 4502 today and all of the Icons are showing as squares? I've tried other browsers to see if the issue was Chrome and the page appears the same way? I've also run my instance in Debug Mode - java -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -Xmx1024M -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5005 -jar aem-author-p4502.jar to see if it was an issue there and they show up as squares as well. How can I fix this?

Re: AEM Service Pack 6.5.8 doesn't seem to install correctly - Adobe Experience Manager 15-09-2021
Thanks @Kishore_Kumar_ I managed to get it working this time within a Chrome Incognito window. As I stated above, I'd already tried that route, but, for some reason it worked this time? Finicky system AEM is. Thank you!

Hi @Aruna_surukunta_ Thank you for your reply. I followed your instructions opened a Chrome Incognito window and forced my upload/install and then checked my system console to see if it installed and it did. I appreciate you taking the time and assistance to move me along.
