Re: Abandonment rate showing more than 100% when used with product classification variable. - Adobe Analytics 23-08-2022
Yes it would be a sequential segment. I would also suggest instead of just having "then" having it be within a certain amount of page views, depending on how your process works. For us, we had the form start and then within 2 page views a form submit (because some of the forms had more than one step).

Re: Abandonment rate showing more than 100% when used with product classification variable. - Adobe Analytics 17-08-2022
I had the same issue with a similar process. For us, we had a form users can start and then submit on the website, when we tried to calculate submit %, we had the same issue as yours above (by day it was fine, but by service name we got over 100%). We discovered that this because people can come back to the submitted page more than once (either reloading it, or navigating away and then navigating back to it later). Our solution was to make a segment that insists that users started the form befor...

Re: Why does table shows other values despites having segment at hit level? - Adobe Analytics 16-08-2022
Best way to do that would be to use the filters for sub-class in the table. Click the filter icon beside the dimension name, click 'show advanced', and then you have different options for the filter. I suggest "contains any term" as that field is space delimited. So for example if you put "laptops golf", it will bring in any subclasses that have "laptops" or "golf" in their name. I think you can put up to 100 words in that field.

What are you trying to do? Build out a dashboard for each subclass? Is it just one metric or multiple you want?

Re: Why does table shows other values despites having segment at hit level? - Adobe Analytics 16-08-2022
When you create a segment, whether it's hit/visit/visitor, it brings in everything that happens at that level as long as the conditions of the segment are met. In your example, you have a segment where sub-class = "laptops". So it is going to look at everything that happens in the hits where sub-class is laptops. In your cart abandon, it will show you the amount of cart abandons for laptops, but it will also show you what other sub-classes were were abandoned at the same time (in the same hit). ...

Re: Segment to exclude all numeric strings coming in as Null - Adobe Analytics 12-08-2022
You could try making a segment that contains letters. Instead of excluding numbers, insist that the item contains a letter. Use "contains any term", which is space delimited, and then just put the whole alphabet separated by spaces like below. This way if it has only numbers it won't be included, but if it has numbers and letters it will be kept.

Re: When do Analytics segments need to be published? - Adobe Analytics 12-08-2022
When you create a segment, by default it is only visible to yourself. If you want other people to be able to use it, you need to "share" it with them. You can do this in the components menu on the left by right clicking the segment, click "share", and then select the users you want to share it with. You can also click components at the top, go to "segments", and select multiple segments from the list to share at once. Publishing the segment isn't required unless you want to use it in multiple pl...
