Well, the thing is… you do need to be at least a Bronze-level Solution Partner to get access to the sandboxes. Adobe does not provide Analytics for free, even for those who want to try it out.

You should be able to see the output of the s.products string with Fiddler by inspecting the AA network hit, just as you would in a web browser's Network console.

There could be a race condition in your Rule vs the data element getting updated.E.g.:User performs the action that triggers the Rule.The Rule runs.The Rule gets the values from the data elements.The web page code runs to update the data elements.The Rule's action runs.In the above scenario, the data elements got updated only after the Rule had executed at step 3. As a result, the Rule only knows of the old data element values, not the new ones that were set at step 4.

I noticed that you used the "Occurrences" metric, which is the default metric when you build a Freeform Table in Analysis Workspace.So my question is: when a user opens that particular Page, is s.products always tracked? Because if it's not, then those "Unspecified" occurrences are precisely because there were hits from that page where s.products was not set, and what you see is the correct result.

If you treat those other internal domains as "external" domains, e.g. they're campaign microsites that lead back to the main website, then you could consider adding campaign tracking codes to their links.

Yes, your answer is spot-on... if you were just counting all unique visitors or all visits. But now, you want to break it down by Days Since Last Visit.So this is the data that AA will query:Row numberDate and TimePageDays Since Last Visit12020-10-01 10:00AMhome 22020-10-09 1:30PMcontent-marketing832020-10-18 9:15AMhome942020-10-22 5:07PMcontent-marketing4It applies your segment, resulting in this data:Row numberDate and TimePageDays Since Last Visit22020-10-09 1:30PMcontent-marketing842020-10-2...

More information will be needed to help you troubleshoot. Click the first "launch-1722...-development.min.js:7", then see if the minified code is trying to reference the "value" property of an object. If it's not, click the next one, then the next one, and so on until you find it.

This might best be done with sequential segments: one for your homepage > checkout path, the other for your pricing page > checkout path. With those 2 segments, you can then report on their respective conversion rates.

@Andrey_Osadchuk is that really the case? I'd expect that if the Allocation is "First Touch" and Expiry is "Never". But for all other combinations of Allocation and Expiry, I'd expect newer values to be reported.

It might help to consider a very simple example.Let's say your website only had one visitor, Jack, in the whole of October 2020, as follows:Row numberDate and TimePage12020-10-01 10:00AMhome22020-10-09 1:30PMcontent-marketing32020-10-18 9:15AMhome42020-10-22 5:07PMcontent-marketing Assuming that Jack visited one-and-only-one page at each visit, i.e. the Page, and assuming that "content-marketing" is a page in your segment.When you run your report for 1-31 October 2020, what do you expect the res...

@AnandKC you can use the same method as what I had described for download links. When AA detects that the user has clicked an exit link, it will track that click automatically, together with whatever you had set in your Rule.

Since you're setting events with Custom Links, ensure that you also have set linkTrackVars and linkTrackEvents in your "Set variables" action.If you have the s.apl plugin in your Launch library, you can do this:s.linkTrackVars = s.apl(s.linkTrackVars, 'events'); s.linkTrackEvents = s.events;

While the segment is hit-based, you're using the Unique Visitors metric. So AA is actually counting all visitors that had at least one hit that matches your segment definition. So it's not a problem with your segment, but rather the combination of the metrics being used that yields this result.

Referrers, which I assume you mean to be referrers from 3rd party sites, only make sense when used with Entry Pages, which are the first pages that people see in their visit to your website.So you can break down Entry Pages by Referrers (or Referring Domains, if you don't need the detailed referral URLs), with the Visits metric to get your report.

Your logic is not really correct.Your segment includes all pageview hits for all of the pages defined in your segment. BUT these pages are part of a visit (or visits). And the "Days Since Last Visit" is scoped to the visit.So in your screenshot, the report says "Based on the visits that included the pages in my segment, this is the number of unique visitors for each of the time periods since the previous visit."Here's a specific reading:For the date range of this dashboard, there were 32,399 uni...

Avatar

@Van9Entry Pages are Visit-scoped. That is why Entry Page A had 2 Visits, whereas the others had 1 Visit. But your requirement is to report with the Unique Visitors metric. Assuming the same visitor had performed all 4 visits in your example, then Entry Page A would have been used by only that one Unique Visitor, so "1" is reported, not "2".The above only applies when a Pageview is always tracked as the first hit of any visit. In some implementations, a Custom Link could have been tracked first ...

Aha! That was the missing clue"the trouble is, we have recently started custom tracking of all our links including outbound"You should not be using Custom Link tracking with your outbound links. If you need to track custom props/eVars/events with your exit links, the trick is to set the variables as required with those links, but don't send any beacon. AA's automatic exit link tracking will take care of sending the beacon, and it will send those variables' data as well. It's a nifty trick I lear...

Which is why you should ignore the First Touch Channel and Last Touch Channel dimensions; those have been deprecated.Using the Marketing Channel dimension only, then in your metrics, e.g. Success Event 1, click its gear icon to open its s...
