@jezwn I personally wouldn't rely on window.onunload because there will always be race conditions between your code getting executed vs the browser navigating away. Maybe it works for you, but it might not with your users. But if you find that your method works, then go ahead, and I suggest that you document it clearly, because it's definitely out of the ordinary.

I haven't tried it myself, but I suppose it can be done.On the other hand, context data is meant to be used with Analytics directly. So you need to consider if your future self or your successor(s) will be able to remember how you're using context data with Launch instead.

@jezwna Data Element Change event might not be the best for you.Try using a Custom Code event. In there, you can use:window.addEventListener('beforeunload', function (event) { trigger(); // REQUIRED });Then, you can read from your data element in a condition or action.

What is most likely happening is that there's a "race condition" between when your digitalData.form.formAbandonment gets set vs when the browser has already unloaded and is navigating to the next page. You can verify if this is the case with the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger's Events panel.With window's unload function, one "trick" I've used that works pretty consistently is to perform the Rule's action within a condition. Basically, run the action's custom code in a condition, and make sur...

Any user interaction within an IFRAME usually cannot be detected by the parent frame, which is where your Launch property is. And so Launch will not be able to detect those interactions/events.If you can add code to the page in the IFRAME, consider using postMessage() in the IFRAME to send the event data up to the parent frame. Then within Launch, you can use window.addEventListener('message', callbackFunction) to handle those events as you wish.

@prathap08 it sounds strange that you encounter this problem of double slashes "//" in your prop's values only with the Typed/Bookmark referrer. If that is really the case, then it sounds to me like a bug that Adobe should fix. I suggest opening a ticket with Client Care for them to investigate and resolve.

I can't comment on Adobe's method of classifying referral traffic under "Social Network".But if you are running a campaign in LinkedIn, then I think you should be using Campaign Tracking Codes with those links. You should then be able to report their performance with Marketing Channels.

What URL dimension in your reports?In my case, I track the page URL to a prop. When I broke down the Referrer dimension by that prop, I got the correctly formatted URLs. When I report on the prop itself, I also get the correctly formatted URLs.

I don't think you can track "why" with AA. I imagine you'd need to ask your users for their reasons, which a survey might be more appropriate for.

Sure, you can use the solution provided in that linked article.Include the code in the section "The Fix - Intel vs Apple".In your AA implementation, set the appropriate eVars. E.g. if you have setup eVar18 to be the "Device Type" and eVar19 to be the "User-Agent", then you can do this: // assuming you use the code as-provided in the article s.eVar18 = window.deviceType; s.eVar19 = navigator.userAgent;

Actually, you might be more interested in this other input box:This lets you specify the domains that you don't want to track as exit links, i.e. your internal domains. So any link that takes you to a domain not in this list will be tracked as an exit link automatically.

Cookie values can only be strings. I haven't personally tried storing non-text values in cookies using _satellite.cookie.set(), but if it's working for you, then that means Launch is able to stringify the object before storing it as a JSON value in the cookie._satellite.cookie.get() would return the cookie's value as-is, i.e. as a string. To convert it back to its original type, use `JSON.parse()`.E.g.var digitalDataString = _satellite.cookie.get("digitalData"); var digitalData = JSON.parse(digi...

If you have pages or links that correspond with each journey stage, you can fire success events with them to "mark" their stages. You can then visualise the journey with a Freeform table or build a Fallout chart. You could also use these success events with Marketing Channels to see which channels have more conversions per stage.

The best way would be to get your website's developer to set all of the required parameters somewhere for you to track. You have a few possibilities, for example:In the Thank You page, set these parameters in the page's data layer, and track them with your s.t() beacon.At the final form submission, send these parameters together in a Direct Call or Custom Event, and track them with a s.tl() beacon.

No, Direct Calls can be run from any JavaScript code, whether in your web page, an external JavaScript file, or from within your Launch property.If you suspect that this particular Direct Call is being run from within your Launch property, you can try searching for the "searchResults" name in Launch's global search to see if it finds any matching Rule Component.

I don't use Data Warehouse much, so my answer won't be 100% applicable to you.I prefer "Use generic success events and create calculated metrics for specific conversions using an eVar".In my experience, an AA user is more likely to want to know the total count of a success event rather than a unique count.If a unique count is needed, a Calculated Metric can solve for that.I don't particular use option 2. It's not trivial to calculate a total count from a unique count, if the total count is ever ...

(This question is probably more suitable at https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform-launch/qa-p/experience-platform-launch-questions.)I think the error messages tell you everything that you need to know: in all of those Rules, you have specified some conditions. And each time, one or more of those conditions are not evaluating to "true" when the Rule runs.So your solution is simple:Open the Rule.For each condition:Evaluate when the condition returns true.Refer ...

You can also use Activity Map, but you'd need every single one of those link elements, or a parent DIV, to have its own unique ID.

Based on your reply to my comment, I'm going to say that this is what is happening:What you're seeing is a characteristic of the "Unique Visitors" metric, which basically counts the number of people (ignoring cookie deletions, tracker blocking, etc).Consider these 2 people: Harry and Sally.Harry visited your site on 23 Sep 2020 and saw zero products.Sally visited your site on 20 Sep 2020 and saw zero products. But she also visited on 23 Sep 2020 and saw 2 products.Let's assume that both Harry an...
