There is branding configuration. I did not set that up. I am quite new in the campaign standard game. Can I change the levels in the branding config?

Is it possible to change the domain level of a cookie set by clicking on a link from a Campaign Standard email. Right now the cookie is set on a sub domain, I want to set it on a top level instead.I would like to do this without sending out mails on the top level domain.
