Yes, the adaptive form is based on an XDP template and the data is being merged with the DoR API. I was able to resolve my issues and generate a functional PDF. I will share my solution shortly.

As a rule, I've always been taught not to have spaces in file names because the link is basically broken after the space. Sometimes the computer/browser will replace the space with a %20 to complete the link. Even when you put a link with spaces in an email the part of the link after the space is not recognized. Apparently this is just a best practice in the technical/IT world and not a mandatory practice. Here is one place I see Adobe mentioning to take the space out of a file name (make note t...

I do not think you can do that. if you want to merge Adaptive Form data with your existing xdp template you can do one of the two thingsCreate your Adaptive Form and base it on your XDP template(depending on the size of your xdp template this could cause performance issues)Create XSD schema use it in your XDP and AF.When the AF is submitted it is quite easy to merge the data with the XDP templateWith Form Data Model the data you get on submission will be in JSON format and if you want to merge w...

@Zahed3570 yes, let's assume it is PDF and Designer and not Adaptive Form - here is how the Drop-Down would look like:The list of options is defined here as shownand important the Binding tab to be set like this:And then the result is as @gbedekar describes it in his XML data. You can even use 01,02,03,04 as values here if that is what you require.

Not sure if you found a solution but I can offer some explanations:I have a complex process which uses a custom render orchestration which stitches XDPs together and modifies the data and then returns a PDF with reader extensions. When I started to migrate this to HTML (experimental) I had to go about it completely differently because I did not get my form rendered and data prefilled. I re-designed my whole form to not being stitched (HTML renderer cannot pick it up - it must be accessible in the...

I was able to resolve this issue by setting the thank you page URL and the value should be the same as the source page URL where the form is present.

Please provide instructions on how to upload a form. I think Greg has identified the issue - the form has to be filled with an Adobe SW application. I believe that when the fields are filled by a 3rd party app (PDF Viewer), if the form is then 'printed' as a pdf, the fields will lock down and all will be saved.
