Re: Allow transfer for Alerts, whether Enabled or Disabled, and Active or Expired - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2022
This sounds like a bug... but maybe it is a "feature"... but I agree, being able to transfer expired alerts properly would make sense. Upvoting.

Re: Migration from GA to Adobe Analytics - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2022
Before you dive too much into the nuts and bolts of how to migrate things straight across to Adobe Analytics, I recommend that you approach this migration as an opportunity to evaluate your current data collection efforts also. Consider the following questions:Do the dimensions and metrics we have been using address all of our business requirements? Is data being collected that is no longer relevant or obsolete? Is anything broken that needs to be fixed?I find that these questions can be very help...

Re: Deleting Users - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
Hi There, We did that using Log options. Based on event type as report/ workspace viewed, filtered the log details and then extracted it in excel. The just sorted and filtered the details in excel for each report individually based on last accessed and total number of access in last 2 years. A bit exhaustive process to extract the logs for last two years and then all the excel stuff but couldn't find a better way. Thanks,

Re: how can we evaluate the mobile visitors on website via Adobe Analytics - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
In what way are you thinking? As in, identifying users who are using mobile devices? There are two default dimensions for this... Mobile Device (this actually breaks out all the devices themselves - iphone don't really get broken out due to Apple hiding this info) and Mobile Device Type which, despite the naming, is used to identify all the different devices types (other being desktop) If you are trying to get more granular with the data, Y=you should be able to breakdown or segment your UV metr...

Re: Text Values for Events - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
Also as we are using classification you can use numeric values for some key=pair. like for loc we know we will have modal, you can replace each possible values by a number so modal would be 1 loc=1 etc... During classification you can translate to correct string values in the classified reports

Workspace, allow us to set visualization labels at the column level of the freeform table as well as in the visualization - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
Being able to set labels in our visualizations is great, we can immediately see where the label is going and how it will look... but the problem comes when the freeform table has the slightest change (like the dimension breakdown, which doesn't impact the columns), forces the labels to re-populate with the default value. Let's take a simple example. I create a freeform table with Referrer Instances at the top, and that broken down into columns by Referrer Type. Then I use Day as my dimension. Wh...

Re: Page Names being converted Lowercase - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
The other thing to remember is I believe that now in the reporting, Adobe takes the first case variation it has seen and collapses the other variations under that first one... While I specify that my code should be lowercase, I have a few older implementations that the developers were passing inconsistent cases to, and they started rolling up into one another a few years ago... though they still aren't always the case I want. I don't think this is a setting (or it was one that was automatically ...

Re: Add 3rd party pixel - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
Again, this will really depend on what type of pixel you are using, and the code will be specific (with a few modifications) to that pixel. For instance, I like to initialize my variables at the start (I pull the data element values using _satellite.getVar(), just so I can use a nice short name in the code) and I like to add try/catch to ensure that if something fails, it fails more gracefully. Then I determine in one chunk of code (for page level tracking) based on page type, what pixels will f...
