Re: Sending Reports & Permissions - Adobe Analytics 16-05-2022
Thank you! I might check out workspace. I found the send option under share but will take a look at these other options too.

Re: Processing rule, vista rule and classification - Adobe Analytics 16-05-2022
First Question:Now coming to classification rule builder whatever rule we build will it take effect on existing data ? Also what will happen if I delete an existing rule in classification rule builder? This is correct. When you create a classification, there is a "lookback window" that will default to 1 month, but can be extended to 6 months. Each time you modify or delete a rule, the classifications will "deactivate".. when you reactivate them they will need to reprocess (it will warn you that ...

Re: [Segment Creation] - Adobe Analytics 13-05-2022
Product is a tricky one... the filters you apply to the product dimension apply to all the products that we part of the tracking call.Let's use a simple shopping cart example... you have a department store, and someone buys a baseball and a t-shirt (so 2 different departments). You want to provide a report to the sports department, and another report to the clothing department... but because these were made in the same purchase... if you filter for "baseball" both items are returned. I believe t...

You're welcome... it's not immediately obvious so I completely understand. Hopefully this will help other people with the same issue.

Re: Referrer Dimension in Workspace vs. Data Feeds - Adobe Analytics 11-05-2022
Hi Benjamin, the reporting I look at in Workspace is very similar to the one in your screenshot. So basically just looking at Metrics broken down by the Referrer. Here is an example:In general it does not matter what Metric i am looking at or how it behaves, my question is more about the Referrer Dimension in general.Regarding the Data Feed: We have a data feed set up with all relevant columns on a hit level from the same report suite. Bot Traffic is of course excluded in both the Data Feed and W...

Re: Get ONLY the marketing channel detail that was the last touch in a visit (deduped) - Adobe Analytics 10-05-2022
The part of this that still needs a question answered is for data warehouse...you can not use exits / entries as metrics, only visits. Pathing metrics are not available in data warehouse. So how does one do a final dedupe like this IN data warehouse, not just workspace It would seem that this is an elusive solution in adobe analytics data warehouse.

Re: Can we use data feed to calculate average time on site or time spent per visit, if yes , what will be the sql query to do so. ? Our data feed goes to data lake. Want to know if we can generate a query which can help to calculate those two metrics - Adobe Analytics 09-05-2022
@mahjoshi the calculation logic can be found at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/metrics/average-time-on-site.html?lang=en with a bit of illustration.

Re: Should I use `adobeDataLayer` as the name of our data Layer or can we use a different name - Adobe Analytics 08-05-2022
I remember reading somewhere that it is not recommended to rename the data layer to something other than "adobeDataLayer". Unfortunately, I can't find that article any more. The Github issue that @Jennifer_Dungan linked to is your "source of truth" for this issue for now.My recommendation would be to use "adobeDataLayer".

Re: Pulling page level data using the reporting API doesn't work - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2022
Arggg.. that's not good... you may have to get your admin person for you organization to file the ticket for you.... Adobe really restricts who can file support tickets within your organization (I think to make sure they have a "first level" review of tickets so they don't get a lot of duplicates)
