Re: Get ONLY the marketing channel detail that was the last touch in a visit (deduped) - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2022
That's strange, exits seems to work for me... I compared mine side by side, and the Visits total to more than the "total shown" (i.e. contains the duplications), and Exits the totals match.... I should have thought of Exits.. actually I did, but I was tired and was thinking those only registered on exit events (i.e. click an exit link) - which isn't the case. I don't know of a way to get the timestamp into a Data Warehouse export... they are included in raw data exports... but that comes with a ...

Re: Is it possible to send logs to a different workspace under the same report ID? - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2022
It sounds like you are talking about creating a "global suite", one that contains the analytics data of 2 or more sites (that you can see the traffic all together, or create virtual suites to see A or B separately). This is the setup I have with 31 "sites" (though if you also include some of the offshoot extended content on subdomains it's probably close to 100 variations being aggregated) in the same suite. While I don't have any documentation handy (this would be a good idea for a blog post ac...

Re: Get ONLY the marketing channel detail that was the last touch in a visit (deduped) - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
I get that this really doesn't "de-dup" the data, but I really can't think of a way to do that... since once you segment it into buckets, the values fall out that way.... Maybe someone else has a brilliant way to figure that out... but it's late here and I may not be thinking all that well

Re: Get ONLY the marketing channel detail that was the last touch in a visit (deduped) - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
Marketing Channels are by default "last touch", however, I think the issue may be coming from the fact that some users have two different channels within the same visit... Think of it this way, I do a Google Search, and I see a bunch of results... I might click on the first result which is a paid ad, therefore I get dropped into a "paid search" channel, I back out to the Google results, I click on another link, this time it's a normal search result, so this time I get added to the "organic searc...

Re: how can we evaluate the mobile visitors on website via Adobe Analytics - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
In what way are you thinking? As in, identifying users who are using mobile devices? There are two default dimensions for this... Mobile Device (this actually breaks out all the devices themselves - iphone don't really get broken out due to Apple hiding this info) and Mobile Device Type which, despite the naming, is used to identify all the different devices types (other being desktop) If you are trying to get more granular with the data, Y=you should be able to breakdown or segment your UV metr...

Re: Text Values for Events - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2022
Yes! Rocking the concatenated values and classification rules is a great solution if you need to track multiple values while minimizing the number of parameters (just make sure you don't exceed 250 characters). If you are afraid of that, if you build in an "end identifier" (yes this will take a few more characters away), then you can watch for this value, and where missing create an alert or some rules to indicate that some data is lost.

Re: Migration from GA to Adobe Analytics - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
This should be a lot of fun. Here is a guide I wrote: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics-learn/tutorials/intro-to-analytics/transitioning-from-other-platforms/transition-from-google-analytics.html It's more of a how to transition on reporting, rather than a technical guide for how to tag, but this might give you some comparables to start. On top of that, you will notice that Adobe has a lot more options and configurations on their dimensions and metrics. Some of this documentation...

Re: Text Values for Events - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
That sounds like you have it.. and since these are on click events, you could also use the custom link value to help give context. So for instance, you could reference the model/asset as "[asset x] interaction" or "cta: [asset x] interaction", etc (following your standard naming convention), then set the prop with the event value (this would be your unique text to tell the actions apart), and use one event to track all "asset interactions". In your report you would then use your prop as the dime...

Workspace, allow us to set visualization labels at the column level of the freeform table as well as in the visualization - Adobe Analytics 03-05-2022
Being able to set labels in our visualizations is great, we can immediately see where the label is going and how it will look... but the problem comes when the freeform table has the slightest change (like the dimension breakdown, which doesn't impact the columns), forces the labels to re-populate with the default value. Let's take a simple example. I create a freeform table with Referrer Instances at the top, and that broken down into columns by Referrer Type. Then I use Day as my dimension. Wh...
