Re: Suggestions for DPS 2015 - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 04-11-2015
Good points David. I would add to that list a couple of things...1. When migrating content, bring over existing metadata from Folio Producer Console such as Folio Number, Publication Date, Article Kicker. Having so many 'loose' items in content makes it unwieldy when you have lots of content to migrate.2.Ability to search by previous metadata from Folio Producer3. Ability to determine what columns show in the content and the ability to sort by clicking on the header rather than doing a searchI s...

Provisioning problem today - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 26-08-2015
I have built and provisioned many Apps. This morning I am having trouble getting a signed .ipa to load to devices. Here is what is different about this story. Yesterday, I built a Project and App and after a few hours of working on it, we decided to make it with dual device navigation. Because you can not change that in the Project, I had to start over from scratch. I used the same Link Reference in both projects. I am using the exact same certificate and provisioning that I used when I built th...

Article 'linking' from InDesign - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 24-08-2015
One important issue has come up with managing Article content. In the process of building App content, there are sometimes dozens or hundreds of revisions to the InDesign document. With the legacy DPS these updates were easy simply "update" and the content that was edited in InDesign was now in the folio. With having to load each .article, everything there is a design revision, the time required to manage these change is a very serious issue. Are there plans to somehow link the InDesign page wit...

Re: Different Metadata for iPad and iPhone - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 13-08-2015
Wow... this is complex and time consuming. I do have the following in my iPhone home collection. The collections are shared between the iPhone and iPad. I am not clear on your answer, previously I thought you said that the collections could be shared between renditions.

Re: Different Metadata for iPad and iPhone - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 13-08-2015
Neil - As you thought, I did have the iPad collection in both of the defaults. However, when I corrected it, now my iPhone shows no content in the home, however the hamburger menu works as I expected. Do I need to have unique content collections for each of the renditions or can they be the same ?

Re: Different Metadata for iPad and iPhone - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 12-08-2015
Neil – I believe I have. But when I tried to log-in to show screen shots, it looks like the portal is down. I have 2 layouts one for iPad and one for iPhone as well as 2 cards and Mapping rules to match.

Different Metadata for iPad and iPhone - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 12-08-2015
I need to have two different metadata for the same content (collection were created and are unique to each device) on iPad and iPhone. I have a Project and App that supports two top level nav. The changes that I have made show up in the hamburger menu, but not in the collection. It pulls the metadata from iPad on my iPhone. I have created two different layouts (one iPad and one iPhone) and two different cards. I am need instructions on how to apply these so that they apply to the two different d...

Re: DPS 2015 tools for InDesign – nothing new for designers - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 06-08-2015
We really like 2015 and the great flexibility. If you have ever tried to create Custom Storefront/Libraries you know what this means. The legacy DPS was quick and easy. While the flexibility is beautiful, there is a price to pay. The first App we have built has taken us 20x as long and is still exactly the way we want it. If Adobe had some standard templates to work with, that would enhance the user experience dramatically. We create many Apps for our customers, and it will be a challenge time-w...
