Launch node url rewrites - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
We recently used a Launch to create a whole new site on top of another one. When we pushed the launch to production there were many urls embedded in the content that did not get converted to the production URL. Is this a known issue or is there a way to do this more robustly. I don't think we'll use this feature again if this is going to be the case.

nodes checked in, checkout out - what is this? - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
We ran into a set of issues today with a new site. As we explored the JCR we ran into the property jcr:isCheckedOut. It appears content cannot be edited if this property is false. I have a few questions: Can someone explain this property and when/where does CQ use this? All our other sites don't seem to use this property.

Re: How to show available componets for page? - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
One thing to watch out for is where in the node hierarchy you put your configs. If you put one specific component in a column control versus template level you end up inadvertently losing all other components. We put all our design configs at the template region level.

Docs: wrong link for missing info - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
On this page: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/author/page-authoring/managing-pages.html#Deleting%20a%20Page. There is a link to How to Restore Pages. This is supposedly the directions of restoring deleted author pages that are activated. The link goes to a publishing page with no relevant information. http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/author/page-authoring/publishing-pages.html#How%2520To%2520Restore%2520Pages. Can this be fixed. Is there a way to restore deleted pages that are still a...

Re: Migrating 5.6.1 ACLs to 6.1 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Thanks. I was hoping this was a case of a proprietary issue with that organization.

Re: Migrating 5.6.1 ACLs to 6.1 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
We were just told by another institution that node names change and are no longer the user ID strings. They are or include some hash value for added path security. The same institution could not migration the permissions with OOTB migration steps. I am simply asking how to best avoid this.

Migrating 5.6.1 ACLs to 6.1 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
We have heard from those that have migrated that ACL migration is not easy with the new security standards in AEM 6.1. Some are reporting lost ACLs that thye have to recreate. This is not acceptable for our migration. We have a very large ACL and need to migrate this into the new secure standards (secured hash for paths, etc). What is the right way to do this? Will ACS Commons ACL Package help?
