Re: Onsite Personalization with 3p Marketplace Audiences... - Adobe Audience Manager 16-12-2020
Hi Marc, If you have created straight forward segments from the 3P traits without much complex logic, then those visitors will get qualified for the segment when they visit your web property. So, ideally those visitors should get targeted on their first visit if you have all the adobe calls in the proper sequencing: ECID, then AT and then AA/AAM. Re: File based offline ID syncs - Adobe Audience Manager 16-12-2020
Hi Prabhat, The traits are linked to data source 2, we have created a profile merge rule (Last Auth + Device) to include both the data sources. The segment is using that profile merge rule. If d_cts is not showing the trait qualifications against the data source 1, how will the customer qualify for the trait and segment then when they will only use hashed email ID on the front end to authenticate. How can one make use of offline ID sync file then?

Re: Missing variable on SSF implementation - Adobe Audience Manager 16-12-2020
Hi there, If getting lat and long values is really important then you can consider implementing AA plug in: getGeoCoordinates to and get lat and long values in an evar. Alternatively, AAM has platform keys that you can use. Please note that you will not be able to see these platform signals in Signals Dashboard https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/audience-manager/user-guide/features/traits/trait-geotarget-keys.html?lang=en#keys-ip-address Thanks,Varun Kalra

Re: Suppress bots - Adobe Audience Manager 16-12-2020
Hi there, If you have already used Exclude Bots then you can use AND. So, basically exclude bots should contain all visitors minus bots. Otherwise, if it's possible to create a segment that's just bots. Then you can also use that as suppression in AAM segments. In that case, you could use AND NOT to suppress "Bots Segment". File based offline ID syncs - Adobe Audience Manager 16-12-2020
Has anyone successfully done file based offline ID sync (not for PBD) recently? If yes, could you share the exact steps and settings for both the data sources? We have an ID (say hashed email) that's available on website front end for ID sync (data source 1). But, the offline data file will be uploaded using a different customer ID (data source 2). We'd like to send an offline ID sync file or match table later on to AAM to tell that both IDs belong to the same person. We uploaded file like this: ad...

Adobe MID generated via DCS API for Mobile app - Adobe Audience Manager 18-10-2020
Hi, Has anyone collected data for mobile app just via DCS APIs?I need to know where does the MID value gets stored while making the API to get the d_mid value. What if we make another call from the mobile app, does it change the d_mid value or does it keep it constant.I know that for a browser, it will always keep that stored in the web browser's cookies, so all the subsequent calls will have same d_mid value. However, I need to know what happens in case of mobile apps? For instnace, what if we m...

Re: ID Service, 1st-party aam_uuid cookie and AAM SSF - Adobe Audience Manager 18-10-2020
Hi Jones, Since aam_uuid gets written as a first party cookie but by third party domain, so it's in third party context, and Safari should delete that in 24 hours. But, with cname implemented for ID service, there is no harm in keeping aam_uuid as well.Just make sure that you have s_ecid cookie being set as first party:https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/id-service/using/reference/ecid-library-methods.html Thanks,Varun Kalra

Re: Using People Based destinations to syndicate data bey... - Adobe Audience Manager 31-08-2020
Hi Christophe, You can still map the segments that you created for PBD to a custom export destination to get a list of hashed email ID's and their corresponding segments they qualified for. You can contact AAM support to get a custom server to server destination provisioned. The only fallback with this approach is you will get only the batch data and file will be exported once a day, whereas PBD destinations support both types of activation: real time and batch. Re: can i see customer journey with adobe tools? - Adobe Audience Manager 11-08-2020
Hi there, The picture that you posted looks like Adobe Analytics flow visualization: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/analyze/analysis-workspace/visualizations/flow/flow.html Adobe Analytics has a number of visualizations to support that for example: flow, fallout, fallthrough etc.Since AAM is a DMP, it does not have the customer journey analysis capabilities. It is more a web analytics feature. Thanks,Varun Kalra

Re: A Question about DMP Founctions - Adobe Audience Manager 09-08-2020
Cookie level data sharing is possible between 2 companies if both have DMPs. If both have AAM, then you can use Audience Marketpace to share data. Getting raw data and sharing with partner is also possible, you need to contact Adobe client care for that.
