Re: User Agent info in AAM - Adobe Audience Manager 12-07-2017
Hi there,Welcome to Adobe forums! You can check this help doc : https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/aam/c_tb_device_targeting.html. We do have a built in way of seeing if the visitor is using a mobile device or if it is something else.It does not matter if the type of implementation is DIL based or SSF, if AAM is implemented on a site or app, then these platform level signals will be sent to AAM servers. You can create rule based traits using these platform level keys if you are colle...

Re: Is the UUID for the same visitor/device going to differ for each AAM installation ? - Adobe Audience Manager 09-07-2017
Hi Suresh,If you have implemented AAM from different AAM acounts with different methods on two websites and say a single user accesses these both sites using same device's same browser. Then the AAM UUID will be same for both sites, but MID (marketing cloud ID) will be different for those two sites.AAM UUID is assigned by demdex servers to a browser, and it stays there unless user deletes browser cookie.Marketing Cloud ID gets generated from AAM UUID and the Partner ID of that AAM account, so th...

Re: Content Tracking for Personas In Adobe Audience Manager - Adobe Audience Manager 07-07-2017
Hi there,Then going with AA would be a good approach. Since it's a web analytics tool, there must surely be a way to create an eVar and increase it's counter on other additional page visits. Then that captured data from AA to AAM can be shared, and you can create traits and segments using that.

Re: Best way to share AAM segments with partner's Adobe Target - Adobe Audience Manager 07-07-2017
You can get in touch with your Account Manager and ask to enable Audience Market place for both AAM accounts. If it is already enabled you should be able to see Audience Marketplace in AAM UI. Using Marketplace, one partner can create data feeds and other can subscribe for that data. Check private data feeds article : Audience MarketplaceOther option would be to check with your account Maanger and ask them to configure second party data share between both partners, both parties will have to cont...

Re: AAM segments in the Sitecatalyst call and those in mboxTrace (Target) - Adobe Audience Manager 07-07-2017
Now I did another test. I edited the activity I created earlier and instead of selecting all visitors in Target, I selected a particular AAM segment for that activity. When I am qualified for that particular AAM segment, I see the experience, and in mbox trace logs, I see all 4 AAM segments for which I am qualified. No where in the mbox trace logs I could see that segment separately which is linked with Target Activity because of which I was seeing experience.

Re: AAM segments in the Sitecatalyst call and those in mboxTrace (Target) - Adobe Audience Manager 07-07-2017
Hi Vinodh,I have tested the similar scenario on a test website with AAM and Target.I have implemented AAM and Target using DTM. I have a number of segments (more than 10) that are created from rule based trait.I created an A/B testing activity in Target, and I did not choose any AAM segment, and I just proceeded with default : All Visitors. Now when I visit the website page and run mbox trace, I see those AAM segments for which I am qualified, so I saw 3 segment IDs in the mbox trace. (for those ...

Re: Better approach to sync customer ids in CRM system with Adobe IDs - Adobe Audience Manager 04-07-2017
That is correct, Method 1 and Method 2 are similar, in Method 1 you have got DTM and you can do that in DTM with few steps, without writing any code to grab customer ID/ CRM ID. So these are almost similar, and would allow you to use other functionalities, also Method 1 ensures the ID sync before Target is loaded. If you have an eVar that is capturing CRM ID and same call will have Marketing cloud ID, but still you would need AAM's ID sync, so yes you would need any one of the Methods for ID sync...

Re: Better approach to sync customer ids in CRM system with Adobe IDs - Adobe Audience Manager 03-07-2017
Hi there,If you are using DTM and Marketing Cloud ID service, then you can create a data element to capture the CRM ID or can use _satellite.setcookie.If you are not using DTM, but are using Marketing Cloud ID service, then you can use visitor.setCustomerIDs. So this option is to be used only if MCID service is enabled.Following is an explanation of all three methods (there is another method called declared ID which is used in case of js based DIL implementation) : Method 1: MCID Tool: This opti...

Re: Content Tracking for Personas In Adobe Audience Manager - Adobe Audience Manager 03-07-2017
Hi There,Welcome to Adobe Forums!Do you also have Adobe Analytics ?If you have AA then you can create a rule using eVar to count number of unique page views by a visitor, and it's value increases to +1 for every different page view. Then, if AA's data is being shared to AAM, then you can create traits like "unique page views by a visitor upto 4" with condition: (c_eVar <= 4), and then can create a segment named evaluation using this trait.Let me know if you only have AAM implemented on the site.
