Re: Capturing successful Pardot form submit - not errors - Adobe Analytics 30-03-2021
I'm not familiar with Pardot. I assumed that it might have a hidden value that indicates whether the submission is successful or not. I suggest talking with your developers or read Pardot's docs to find out more about how to determine a successful form submission, then set a condition in your Rule accordingly based on what you've found.

Re: Direct last touch channel with campaign attribution - Adobe Analytics 02-12-2020
This is expected when the expiration of tracking code is not set to number of days. That will cause the tracking code to persist in the next visit even if the visitor arrives using a direct channel. If the expiration is set to visit, I will advise reaching out to Customer Care who will help you review the Marketing Channels and processing rules.

Re: Direct last touch channel with campaign attribution - Adobe Analytics 25-11-2020
@e30powar The way you're setting Direct channel "Non-overriding channel" is correct appraoch.-The reason you see Campaigns against Direct channel is because of the persistence of s.campaign(eVar0) variable.- You cna verify this by adding "Tracking codeInstances" metric in your table. It should show 0 against Direct channel for this campaign value. For example:Assume that campaign variable is set to expire for a week1 Jan : Visitor came from paid where utm_campaign = fb001 // Visit 1, campaign = ...

Re: Direct last touch channel with campaign attribution - Adobe Analytics 24-11-2020
Dear Powar, When you say 'UTM Parameter' I suppose you are capturing the UTM Parameter Values in Tracking Code and trying to breakdown Tracking Code by Last Touch Channel. If you are doing so, kindly do not do the same. We should not breakdown in that way and think about attribution. Check out my blog to understand how the breakdown works with Tracking Code Versus Last Touch Channel. Blog Link: https://terrynwinter.com/adobe-analytics-last-touch-channel-versus-tracking-code/ Thank You, Arun.

Re: Direct last touch channel with campaign attribution - Adobe Analytics 23-11-2020
Hello @e30powar ! I've totally been where you are - seeing campaign values when breaking down the Direct channel by the campaign eVar. While this may make you feel a little queasy, don't worry ...it is probably going to be okay. There is a 2020 Summit Session called “Behind Every Good Report is Good Data” that talks about Marketing Channel Rules. Toward the end of this session, the presenters walk through some super common scenarios of break-downs that make it appear as if the Marketing Channels...

Re: How do I create fallout calculated metric? - Adobe Analytics 17-08-2020
You can give a try by utilizing Create segment from touchpoint within fallout report. Refer: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/analyze/analysis-workspace/visualizations/fallout/configuring-fallout.html

Re: Single rule in Launch for all page view metrics or se... - Adobe Analytics 23-04-2020
One other question. If we have to implement CCPA/GDPR opt-in/out code as a condition on the tags would I still want 1 general page view tag since I don't need Adobe Analytics to be wrapped by the privacy code, just Linked-In and Facebook and others like that.

Re: Create a segment to filter out false data - Adobe Analytics 30-03-2020
Hi @e30powar,Couple of options -1. If you are tracking page url or domain or report suite id in any variable (prop/eVar) to differentiate stg vs production environment than create a exclude segment based on available options. If not start tracking it.2. If you using virtual report suite, use segment created through step #1 to exclude data from virtual report suite.3. As you can't directly use regular expression to count "order id" characters in segments in that case use auto classification rule ...
