Media Analytics (heartbeat) start event types - Adobe Analytics 10-08-2022
Hi, we are reviewing our video implementation and I want to understand the start event types firing. Per our current implementation, we fire an ms_s (page view) call and then follow up with media analytic calls. We fire: main asset start main asset aa_start main asset start ad asset start (when there is an ad present) ad asset aa_start ad asset play (fires every second) as asset complete main asset play main asset chapter_start main asset play (fires every ten seconds) main asset complete I want...

Re: Deeplink tracking best practices - Adobe Analytics 27-07-2022
Thank you very much! Yes, the one we are implementing is super simple, but I wanted to see what other use cases I could have... the app push notification one is a great example of a direct entry we don't have the ability to track yet, but I can push my developers to see if it can be included and then have it in the same evar. thanks again!

Deeplink tracking best practices - Adobe Analytics 27-07-2022
Hi! We are in the process of adding deeplink tracking to our mobile and OTT apps and I want to see if anyone can share best practices on how to track them. My main questions at the moment are: 1.-is it recommended we consider the deeplink variable as a new boolean page variable? (just true or false) 2.- or should we try to add the new variable to an existing page variable, like page template? The template doesn't actually change for deeplinking so I am more inclined towards the first option, but...

Re: How to create an Adobe Analytics group to share segments and projects? - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2022
Thanks, I tried adding a dummy profile, but it would still not show up.Since all the users in this group are admins, I gave the profile access to everything and see if it would work, but it didn't.Ultimately, I modified another profile that shows up when sharing and repurposed it by excluding some people from the profile and adding the new group created.is there a streamlined process to create a group to share segments with? Should it be a profile instead of a group of users?

How to create an Adobe Analytics group to share segments and projects? - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2022
Hi, I am confused about how to create a group of users I can easily share segments and workspace projects.I created a group through the admin console, but it seems that group is only used to add product profiles since it is not available when sharing components.Do I need to create the group elsewhere? or is there a way to share components with this group I created? Thank you,Leo

Action calls firing Page Calls in mobile apps - Adobe Analytics 27-07-2021
Hi everyone, We are working on our app implementation and we just noticed several of our link calls are firing page calls.it is a little different between iOS and Android, as the iOS action calls match the page calls perfectly; while the Android page calls are less than the action calls. We want to remove these extra PV calls from our implementation.I checked related questions here (link below) where the issue seemed to be related to the the setting of Page Name in their processing rule. However...

Maintaining colors on a donut viz acording to the position and not the result. - Adobe Analytics 22-05-2019
Hi, I want to use donut charts to show platform distribution across different metrics, but they do not maintain colors across all three that I am creating, making it difficult to grab the info on a single look without looking at the legend on all three charts. Is there a way to assign colors to the series that I am plotting or can they get assigned by the position they have on the source table.this is how it looks:but the table is organized this way:thank you so much for your help.Leo
