Search feature - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 19-02-2016
Hi all - I keep reading that the search feature is on the road map and is coming very very soon.If it's not a finished product, yet, do you mind if I make a few suggestions?1. Create at least a dual hierarchy of search features: Level 1 is a hierarchy of words that are found within articles and the results that would show up are from each article that would contain those words (if I have a collection where I'm writing about how awesome Colin Fleming's glasses are, I could search for the word "gl...

Re: Quick question on article files - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 17-02-2016
‌ok, everyone here is being so helpful, I really appreciate it.... So my developer team has a lot of questions; more specifically that we are trying leverage three pieces of software(DPS 2015, Experience Manager and Analytics) to do something that DPS wasn't entirely designed to do. That being said, Ive personally been an Adobe user since 1995, and I don't think I've ever 100% used any Adobe software specifically for the exact single purpose it was built for.We are trying to convert multiple exi...

Re: Quick question on article files - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 17-02-2016
‌Ahha! But when you're exporting an InDesign file an article file for an ipad, one of the dimensions MUST be either 1024 or 768. of the diminsions on one of the sides doesnt equal that, it wont export it to a .article file, right? And the export to html from InDesign is not helpful because it throws different text boxes and images around everywhere with no rhyme or reason. Trying to think of an efficient way to do this.....

Quick question on article files - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 17-02-2016
HI there, I'm back with a few more questions:If I have a magazine that's not 1024 x 768 can I create a .article file out of a document that isn't the size of a target device? Also, does the conversion to a .article file compress the images at all or change their color profile (I.e. CMYK to RGB)?

Re: AEM and DPS integration - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 16-02-2016
Ok let me ask this. Let's say I have dozens if not hundreds of .article files. I have the web viewer app, a windows app, an android app and an iOS app. Each of them have 2 top level collections. Can I use AEM to load the article files into the appropriate apps and collections? Can I create new collections via AEM?Wordpress and Drupal just aren't cutting it for me.

AEM and DPS integration - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 15-02-2016
I'm having trouble understanding the video tutorial for AEM and DPS. If I have a web page that I've created using Dreamweaver and it's an HTML page, and I have it loaded into AEM, can I upload that same HTML page to DPS using AEM without going through the HTML converter to a .article file? I know you can do this for Drupal and Wordpress, but my userbase is too large and the amount of content I have too massive for both of those.Any answer in the next hour or so would be extremely helpful as I'm ...

Re: Dual article orientation - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 12-02-2016
While I agree that a dual orientation within the same issue would make a terrible reading experience, why confine every issue of an entire app to the same orientation? You force an app publisher to stick to one orientation for the entire app. You don't even give them the opportunity to offer a special issue in a different orientation. Why can't publishers make one Collextion portrait and the other landscape within the same app?

Adobe DPS reader and entitelment questions - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 19-01-2016
Question 1: Can I require users to create an account since access to all the content is restricted?Question 2: Does entitlement work the reverse way? If someone creates an account in my DPS app, can they log into our website and access the same content on the website that they can the app?Question 3: With the new DPS Web Viewer can I read something in my app and pick up the same collection in the same location of the same multi-page article and visa versa if the only way to view content on our w...

Re: Dual article orientation - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 07-01-2016
Hey Bob, thanks for the note. I want there to be certain article that display horizontal images horizontally that bleed off of the iPad (full screen) and certain articles that display vertical images vertically that bleed off of the iPad (full screen). I get that one collection doesn't have dual orientation, which I totally support. Hell, I'd even get that an entire horizontal collection wouldn't allow me to have vertical images... but I forgot that the entire app has to be either vertical or la...
