Adjusting terminology slightly: you have one project, that project has iOS, Android, Windows, and web viewer "apps" -- they all listen for the same content. That content has two top-level, so your tablet and phone readers can see different content organization. The top-level, and all other collections can be organized using either DPS 2015 (the Portal) or AEM -- both DPS and AEM can see what the other is doing, and you learn when/why you need to tell the two systems to check on the other.You can...

InDesign CC 2015 supports the DPS 2015 workflow -- that workflow does not support the Desktop Content Viewer. That's why there is no Preview at the bottom of the Overlays panel.All content proofing is done through a preflight process that's started in the DPS 2015 Portal, you need a DPS account to sign in to this portal. Then you can preflight to a custom preflight app you build in the portal or use the DPS Preflight app.HTH

Thanks, Colin!I will set up collections - one for English and one for French, and add articles into each.I suppose setting up the entitlement server would be useful if you wanted to restrict access to either English or French for specific users? Would this require an internet connection each time a user tried to open the app on the device?

Keep in mind, when you set a dimension while working on a layout rendition it's only for visualizing in the Layout Templates system. You are not setting the dimension of your reader's browser window when they're using the web viewer. They could change the size of their browser window at any time.The "Make Default" sets a layout rendition (tablet initially is the default) to be used as the starting point when you add a new layout rendition. Good points Colin - I basically agree with the premise that the App is better. However, that may not be what the average consumer of our content expects. Maybe in the past. Today, it is the assumption that web content is universal on all devices, desktop and mobile. I understand the initial intent of WebView by Adobe as a tool to expand Social Sharing content.
