The look & feel for the app is handled through Cards & Layouts -- and those are not segregated by platform.The look and feel of an article is handled either through the HTML that you package for upload, or through pixel-perfect design from InDesign -- but these are not segregated by platform.

Bug? Beta? Complicated combination of divergent expectations? Who's to say. Some have expected/requested that when you delete a collection all articles that were in it also should be deleted. One might draw a parallel to cards and layouts. If you delete the layout, should all cards used in card mapping also be deleted?hmmm.I suspect that there are some rather intricate aspects to these deletion processes. And I'm comfortable that we're in beta, and early in a new product. Share your thoughts on ...

Hey Kristen -- Sounds complicated, and I'm not sure I get all the details completely, but I've had similar experiences and started to notice the following, mostly with cards and layouts.Scenario: I have a card and use it in a mapping rule for a layout. Everything's cool, working as desired. Now I want to delete the card (I'm resetting things for a demo session and want to start with no cards or layouts except for the defaults.) If I delete the card first, I'll get the "Update Failed, Out of Date...

The original HTML Packager for Mac required OS 10.10There is a new version on the beta resources download page that I believe supports OS 10.9Digital Publishing Solution | Beta ResourcesWhen I compare the two, the newer version has a creation date of July 2, and the name on my system is "HTMLArticlePackager" while the original was "HTML Article Packager"HTH

If you're a DPS customer, you'll have access to both DPS 2014 and DPS 2015 workflows and app building.The workflows are separate (Folio Producer vs. the DPS Portal) -- but you have access to both.HTH

If you are only using the DPS 2015 workflow, those apps are not required.If you delete them, and then realize you need to use ID CC 2014 to make content for a DPS 2014 app, you can re-install the DPS Tools for ID CC 2104 -- and the Content Viewer app would be installed.App Builder would be a download, if you need to build/update a DPS 2014 app.The App signing tool you highlight would be a download if you need to sign an Android app built using the DPS 2014 workflow.

During the beta period, anyone with an Adobe ID can use the tools to test the product and workflow.Once beta is closed, you will need to be a DPS customer to access the tools and workflow.Or, if a DPS customer adds you to one of their projects, you'll have access through them based on the permissions (role) they grant. This allows freelancers or agencies to be part of a client-owned workflow.

Those are leftover DPS tools, they're not removed when you delete InDesign. All three are for the older, DPS 2014 workflow and not needed when working with DPS 2015.You may delete them if you're only using DPS 2015.
