I created a component specific policy and manually added components [] property and added the required component group also. There are three parsys in my components and the only above added components are allowed in those parsys. How I will add another component or group without crx/de or code change because the Allowed Component policy is available only on the template level?

Hi @AD-Engineer,If your custom Model class named com.myproject.core.models.impl.CardImpl implements say, com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.List then in your HTL -> data-sly-use.list you need to use the interface only. That is com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.List or any core component interface which you are implementing from. Update this and try. In your instance, two implementation of com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.List will be available (one OOTB + your custom Model), yo...

You don't have option to select target for the live copy for experience fragment as it is for normal content pages. Only option you have is create live copy in the same folder then use Move option to the desired folder, the benefit will be you not need to care about the reference. It will update automatically.Hope this will help.Umesh Thakur

You can view the Permissions tabs in the Page Properties to see if any CUGs or other permissions have been set: Another alternative is to use CRXDE Lite and the Access Control panel:Although keep in mind that CRXDE Lite should be disabled in upper-level environments.

Unless you mention the libraries which needs to be picked up explicitly ( as explained by @BrianKasingli and @dgordon86 ) , AEM will not be able to identify which file it needs to pick for your component. You have to define the clientLibs categories and include that to either head or foot

Yes I agree with @aemmarc I would start with the WKND Tutorial: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-wknd-tutorial-develop/overview.html?lang=en (new URL on Experience League) Some other content that is useful: How to add commerce to your AEM Site (using Commerce Integration Framework)Getting Started with AEM Sites for Developers (includes some foundational videos and content)Good luck!

@daveb36428317 apologies for any time wasted. A colleague of mine just informed me that there is an issue with AEM 6.5.5 and retrieving the correct property (even if the Product profile and permissions are set correctly). This is fixed in with AEM 6.5.6: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/release-notes/service-pack/sp-release-notes.html.

@dgordon86 thank you for your answer. We researched a little by ourself and we found this documentation: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/developing/platform/templates/page-templates-editable.html Adobe recommend using the anonymous user. This user is part of the everyone group, so I think both solutions are capable. Have a nice time.Best, Maik

Hello @naveent23995593,A more modern way to write Sling Servlets will be to write it with the OSGI DS 1.4 (R7) annotations. For instance, a Sling Servlet registered by resource types can utilise this annotation @SlingServletResourceType.Writing unit tests for @SlingServletResourceType is very simple. Utilising the AEM Mocks JUnit library, First, you would need to instantiate the Sling Servlet object. Thereafter, you would need to pass in the Sling request and response (wcm.testing.io) mock objec...

Is it really "integrating" with bootstrap though? As far as I can tell, following the article would actually create a different css that will "mock" the bootstrap grid and not really extend or integrate with it.

I did this experiment:I opened localhost:4502/editor.html/content/we-retail/us/en/experience.htmlAt the bottom I added 3 text components to the responsive grid and added the content "text1", "text2" and "text3" into them.I checked the order of the nodes below /content/we-retail/us/en/experience/jcr:content/root/responsivegrid and found, that the order in the JCR follows the order in the page: first there is the text component containing the text "text1", then the component for "text2" and finall...

Even in this write up - they suggest React alone - there is no way: "React doesn't really have anything for consuming data" Another way - is have React make a call to an AEM Sling Servlet - the servlet invokes a Java service (similar to the article i posted), gets the data and returns the data back to the React component -- Is it possible to consume a RESTful API with React.js alone (i.e. without any server-side language, provided the API) if…
