Re: Adobe API Get and Create classification rules builder - Adobe Analytics 30-04-2019
GigazelleDo you have any timescales for a Classification API for v2.0?I thought I had seen an announcement about it somewhere, but now I'm thinking I may have dreamed that ...

Wildcard Operators when using "matches" in Segment Builder - Adobe Analytics 11-04-2019
Which wildcard operators are supported in Segment Builder?Looking through the posts returned by this search and having done some experimentation, I suspect the asterisk (*) character is the only one (i.e. "matches zero or more of any character").However, my reason for asking is that the Comparison Operators for Segment help article makes reference to "wildcard operators" (in the plural) and the concept of "globbing" (which is much more extensive than the simple asterisk).

Re: Can I switch environments for Launch using the developer console like I did in DTM? - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 27-02-2019
Use "Redirector"The best solution that I've found is an Extension/Tool named "Redirector", which can be seen at this address: RedirectorThis works for me both in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. I understand that this may be made to work in Microsoft Edge; however, that is outside my abilities. Use CasesI have been using this tool on a site that has DTM (the precursor to LAUNCH) implemented in order to test a new LAUNCH deployment.Once my organisation has migrated from DTM to LAUNCH, I will us...

Re: Anti-tracking release for Firefox - Adobe Analytics 16-11-2018
GigazelleI've had a response from Adobe Client Care, and they've clarified something that was incorrect in my original post: what Firefox is proposing to block by default is "Third-Party Cookies"; this is a different setting with the "Content Blocking" configuration of Firefox (screenshot below). This policy appears to have no impact at all on the functioning of Adobe DTM, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target (as far as maintaining "Visit" and "Visitor" linking of activity goes).

Re: Firefox tracking blocker affecting Target - Adobe Target 15-11-2018
@mikewebguyThere's one correction I would like to make to what you've written: Mozilla's blocking is already on by default in Private Mode; this has been the case for a long time in Firefox now.The concern here, and I think it's borne out by this blog post from Mozilla (look for the comment "release it by default early 2019"), is that Mozilla is going to bring that setting out of Private Mode and into "normal" browsing mode.Since that blocks, for example, Adobe DTM, this will mean that all Firef...

Re: Firefox tracking blocker affecting Target - Adobe Target 15-11-2018
HI Richard,I responded to what I think is related question today. In summary, I think that v65 of Firefox (Jan 2019) will block by default Adobe Target (amongst a lot of other things).I'm trying to find someone who can (hopefully!) disprove my conclusion or affirm it and then tell me what to do next.Did you get any more info?Barry

Re: Anti-tracking release for Firefox - Adobe Analytics 15-11-2018
Hi Christian,SummaryI've done some reading on this and some testing, and I'm 99% certain that v65 of Firefox scheduled for release on 29th Jan 2019 will block, by default, Adobe DTM (and, therefore, all Digital Analytics and Marketing tags that an organisation delivers using DTM).My reasoning is below; I would be very grateful if someone is able to tell me that I my conclusions are incorrect. In summary, my conclusions are:Firefox v65 will block Adobe DTM by default (and all content delivered by ...

Re: Intelligent Tracking Prevention - Adobe Analytics 12-11-2018
GigazelleDo you have any update on your findings given the latest release of Firefox? As per this Mozilla blog post, I think that Mozilla aims to block all cookies (and other site storage) from known "trackers" (Adobe Analytics, for our purposes) from "early 2019" (I understand this means v65 of Firefox). If this is a correct interpretation, does it mean that Adobe Analytics will not function in any useful manner for anyone with a CNAME redirect (e.g., "metrics.mycompany.com" for "www.mycompany.c...

Re: Retrieving details for a Calculated Metric using API - Adobe Analytics 19-10-2018
The answer turns out to be quite simple: you need to specify the fields that you want to see ('id' and 'name' are the defaults). So, add "fields":["definition"] to the request.
