With the last release of Reports and Analytics we were able to allow you
to use metrics created in Ad Hoc (Discover) to show up in Reports and
Analytics and visa versa. We will continue to look at the others..
With the latest release of Reports and Analytics you can now get a
metrics preview (by click on the info icon when you hover over a metric)
it will show you the name, description, formula and an overtime report
for the metric.
With the latest release of Report and Analytics all calculated metrics
are global. Meaning you can use a calculated metric that you create from
one report suite in another. All you have to do is uncheck the report
suite filter in the metrics selector to see all metrics from a report
suite.
Great suggestion and we agree so we changed up the way metrics are
organized in the last release (late last week) and it should make this a
lot easier.
When you talk about segmenting on Calculated metrics. How are you
thinking about it.Are you thinking about adding segments to calculated
metrics (eg. Percent New Visitors [New visitors]/visitors)Or are you
thinking about it as segments that say give me people that have a bounce
rate of less than 50%
