I want to use custom script for changing the view of my website. Since I would like to manipulate different parts of the webpage I don't want to use applyOffers.

I wonder if there is any side effects to use custom javascript instead of using applyOffers? For example, other functions like trackEvent can still be useful?

Is applyOffer function just used for manipulating the webpage?
