Steven,
It's been a while since you were looking into this, but at our agency, we are using LiveCycle forms and translating them into Spanish using Deja Vu X3. At first, I didn't understand how a CAT tool like DVX3 was going to handle an xdp file created in LiveCycle. DVX3 has a way of creating filters for files, and it allows you to use the same file in LiveCycle (in xdp) to create this filter. Once you have the filter, you use it in your project settings within DVX3 to process the LiveCycle form like any other file. The translator finishes translating into the given language and then exports the file from DVX3 and it will give you the xdp file which can be easily opened in LiveCycle.
So in DVX3, its not a lot of steps once you have set up the filter. 1. you import the xdp file 2. translate it and edit (whatever process is used for completing a translation) 3. export the file and you'll get the xdp.
Hope you were able to work it out.
Cris
