Hmmm, so let me see if I have this right.  You've imported an lc8 process into an lc9 application, after upgrading your server, and reset the deployment id and added a new Workspace startpoint.  Is that right?  Did you also replace the user services on your process?  The stack trace has errors coming from userservicev2 which is a new user service which would lead me to believe you also replaced your user services.

If that is the case I'm wondering why you modified the process after upgrading to lc9?  LC8 processes will continue to run in lc9 without any modifications.

You cannot use the Workspace startpoint with the old user services so I'm going to assume you replaced your user services as well (basically re-created your process with the LC9 services).  If that is what you did then, yes, you will run into problems with existing process instances.
