Hello Nigel,
This is what I have in mind ...
We developed an ERP-system with following configuration:
* SQL server
* ASP.NET C# webservices (Windows server)
* Flex user interface
This is used in some companies which also have a linux
asterisk phone system with VOIP-phones.
They also have offices on other locations and tele-workers.
These can use the flex interface through a simple internet browser
connection but it is more difficult to also give them a physical
phone.
Wouldn't it be great to have a softphone within our flex
interface which communicates with the phone server so teleworkers
have everything within one interface and can start working as soon
as they have the weblink to the system... ?! So they would be able
to make calls to there collegeus physical and/or soft phone and
also be able to make calls to real calls to clients.
In short: I want to make a Skype with Flex
Best regards,
Frank
