Hi There,
I submitted the problem to Adobe Support and they have helped me to fix the problem. They said this problem was a bug in the version 7.2 and though that it would bed fixed in ES 8.2 so they are not sure why it still happens. Anyway, here is the solution so I think I would post it to share with all of you.
- Open you form in LC Designer ES
- View your form in XML Source instead of Preview PDF.
- In XML source, do a CTRL-F to launch the Find then type "APED" to find it. It will highlight the "APED" for you, it you see the code shows 1 then it is OK, if if shows many times like keep repeating for the same "APED" at that field and that is a problem at that field. Write down the field name and go back to Design View or look in the Hierarchy for it then select it then try to change the Appearance property of that field to None than change it back to what you have before. e.g. the Appearance property of textfield_nameA was in Solid Box, changed it to None, then again change it back to Solid Box. This will remove those redundant APED codes that keep repeating in the XML Source
- With the field above selected, go to the XML Source to view it again, those repeating APED codes should be cleaned now.
- Then Continue to search and do the same thing for other fields to clean up those codes.
I did have more than 40,000 lines of XML codes in the XML Source of my file with the size of 40,511 KB and it took so long to load the form in workspace which shows the size of 29.5 MB. After have done these steps above, the form was really reduce from 40,511 KB to 188 KB. Amazing...!
Have a Nice Weekend everyone!
