We're just wrapping things up regarding maintenance. Some noteworthy things to know!
- Elimination of hashed values in Data Feeds – Over the next year, data feeds will start including actual values instead of hashed versions.
- Web Services v1.2 API end-of-life – Support for the 1.2 version of the API was deprecated in fall 2014. It still technically works, but in several months this version of the reporting API will return a 404 error.
- SSL v3 disabled – None of the current versions of Analytics tools use this protocol.
- UK Postal Code – In the March release the geo postal code data Analytics provides for the UK will be more specific/granular. The product will start providing the full postal code.
- Data Processing change – When a product string is populated, Analytics servers count a prodView event whether or not it was passed on the hit. Sometime in the next month, this prodView event will be added to the list of events *after* processing rules (instead of before). This will fix issues with context data and mobile hits.
- Real-Time Report Configuration permission – A new feature giving more robust permissions around Real-Time reports.
