Adobe Analytics Specialist - Renewals Business
Job Location: San Francisco, California
Position Summary
The Analytics Specialist position is a client-facing role requiring both technical analytics and digital marketing business knowledge and skills. Analytics Specialists play a key subject matter expert role in pre-sales engagements, working with field solution consultants, field account executives, and account management team members to craft the overall vision for how leveraging the Adobe Analytics platform will drive value and customer success. The position requires travel and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional internal teams as well as customers at all levels.
Responsibilities
- The candidate must be able to work effectively with both business and technical teams and have the ability to communicate freely with individuals and groups while maintaining respectful level of confidence. Customers and partners need to associate with this person as a subject matter expert and someone they enjoy working with and want to partner with.
- Project management skills are essential.
- While specializing in Analytics, the candidate needs to quickly learn the full suite of Adobe solutions
- Help Adobe’s Customer Success Managers drive Analytics solution renewals with Adobe clients and partners
- Identify and align all solutions and integrations to identified value drivers
- Leverage hands-on technical and product skills, as well as digital marketing business acumen, in designing the solution architecture, in partnership with Consulting, Solution Consultant, Customer Care, and the Customer Success Managers
- Working with the field teams, gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of client's business model, key objectives, data sources, current technology platform and available solution set (both Adobe and non-Adobe solutions)
- Support multiple clients simultaneously
- Manage customer expectations appropriately in partnership with the Customer Success Manager
- Present and work as subject matter expert with clients and client-stakeholders, including large groups at customer sites
- The Analytics Specialist will work closely with Product Management and Engineering across the company business units to validate solutions, identify products gaps and opportunities, and collaboratively take strategic product concepts to partners and customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working with business intelligence systems, content platforms, digital optimization strategy, and/or web analytic platforms
- 3+ years of leading pre-sales efforts for multi-solution engagements
- Strong understanding of internet architecture and database structures
- Knowledge of big data concepts, segmentation strategies and targeting, as well as customer modeling
- Significant experience presenting in front of groups and to high-level executives
- Proven track record of building solid relationships with customers at all levels
- Passion for the internet domain and use of technology to solve business problems
- Excellent understanding of general business models, concepts and strategies
- Must be self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success
- Should possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in business with equivalent technical work experience
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to explore, understand, and present from customer data as an Adobe Analytics expert
Special Consideration Given For
- Previous experience working with Adobe digital marketing solutions or similar tools
- Database and BI related experience
- Deep vertical industry experience (e.g., retail, media, financial services, high tech, etc.)
- Predictive modeling experience
- Master’s degree in business or other related advanced education
