In the Scheduling Tool, the only way you can tell if a resource is scheduled for time off is this light grey bar that stretches the width of the time off dates. I've noticed that the grey bar is buried in within other tasks that may be assigned, so it's not easy to tell if a resource is available or...

PROPOSED SOLUTIONGlobal Utilization (via Reporting) should count all actual hours on projects, including time logged on the Project, on Tasks or on Issues.SITUATIONAs resource managers look at the Global Utilization the Actual Hours reported is not counting all hours on projects - only hours logged ...

Outlook Integration with calendar will eventually synch Outlook PTO back to WorkFront User Time Off Calendar. This is core functionality to take advantage of Resource Planning with minimal manual efforts. Currently WF advised this is only achievable if you link your WF to your HRIS system. With an O...

Projected dates is helpful to see how things are really tracking along, a better sense of reality I suppose. Planned dates is good to see what we originally had in mind and allows you to view allocation. In order to change between the two, you have to go into the settings and switch the toggle. **My...

In our organization, we have projects that last anywhere from 30 - 150 days. The Scheduling Tool would be helpful, but it only populates tasks for 2 weeks at a time. Is there a way to populate a full project so Project Owners/Resource Managers can assign resources seamlessly? Also, it would be helpf...

Don’t clear the filters (in the scheduling view) after screen refresh ‚Äì timelines get constantly updated and therefore we need to refresh the screen. Not needing to apply the filters after each refresh would save a lot of time

Right now when you export the resource planner into an excel doc, it exports with all the projects under each role (or other filter type you've chosen). We need to be able export only the filter type and totals for the time period, without all the associated projects or tasks listed below.

Current functionality: "Applying a filter does not change the allocation and availability data in the Resource Planner for projects, roles, or users. The filter changes only the amount of data that you see." In order to use the Resource Planner as a resource budgeting tool, we need to be able to exc...

Request the following improvements to the Scheduling tool in Workfront. 1. Resource Allocation Highlighting: I’d like to see a different way of highlighting when someone is over-allocated on a particular day. For example, bold the total hours at the top of the day in red (similar to the legacy plann...

It would be great if we could "zoom out" the resource scheduling view to see the data by week and month. Resource scheduling by day is too granular for our PMs. Feedback from our users is that it is daunting and too much work to schedule by day. Our organization is not managing people's time down to...

On the new Scheduling page, I would like to see more filters and a better view of the tasks assigned to each person. My suggestions: On each task bar, include the name of the project, so you don't need to hover over a task to see who it is assigned to.Filter by team member name, rather than job role...

So far, anyone can delete filters in the new Resource Planner section, even though the filter has not been created by that user. I don't think this is ideal. Ideal solution would be to have some default filters and possibility to create personal filters (which can be shared), like on other pages.
