Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone is able to help me understand whether Target Recommendations can recommend products based on specific customer level data (ie a customer ID)? I know there is a recommendation key for "last purchased item" - is anyone able to give me a bit more detail on how this is determined?

I'm looking to understand if whether recommendations can be tailored to specific customer purchasing behaviour - ie if someone frequently buys "sportswear" from the retailer, can I test whether recommending them more "sportswear" will increase conversion or whether I should build a recommendation that offers other types of products.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for your question! You might find this article in the Target Help Documentation on Basing the Recommendation on a Recommendation Key helpful - feel free to reach back out here if you have additional questions. Thanks!
