Preview link for A/B test does not show updated content

Avatar

Hello,

I created an A/B Test Activity on Standard where I have two experiences:

Experience 1: Update header and text on homepage

Experience 2: Redirect to new homepage

When I generate preview links, Experience 1 does not display the updated content.  Experience 2 successfully redirects.  Why is Experience 1 content not updating?

Thanks,

ben

Hi Ben,

It could be selectors issue . Are you using ID/css based selectors ?

Thanks & Regards

Hi Parit,

I am having a similar issue. I update the test in visual compositor and when I go to edit the test shows the changes. However, the changes are not reflected in the preview links.

Do you know what could be the problem.

Thanks.

Hi ,

Difficult to say exactly what might be going on, I've seen varying cases. Here's what I'd check:

  • If you are not able to see the preview  (due to browser cache), try refreshing two or three times or copy the link and open it in new browser or new session.
  • You may need to "renew" the preview links
  • if the problem still persists, Can you please share your Adobe Target Account credentials as well as URL of the activity & experience  so that we can debug the issue at our end.

Regards

Also Adobe have changed the preview parameter. Make sure your website isn't striping this new one. So besides *at_preview* there is now *at_experience*
