Hi,

Problem:

Dynamic image does not display in Email sent from ACS where the image is driven by Adobe Target integration.

Summary:

  • Simple Experience Targeting activity setup in Adobe Target
    • Audience A (male) driving Experience A (image) with Offer A (redirect URL to an image)
    • Audience B (female) driving Experience B (image) with Offer B (redirect URL to an image)
    • Location: "target-global-mbox"
  • Email Delivery in ACS configured to change image based on 'Dynamic Image from Adobe Target'
    • Default image URL provided
    • Target Location (rawbox) provided: "target-global-mbox"
  • When the Email Delivery is executed and email lands in the inbox, the image doesn't display either the default or dynamic image
    • clicking on the link where the image should be shows error "Client is not ubox enabled: clientspectrumamerpa"

@viragp64924055  Seems like you've not set the Options in the ACS instance (Administration > Application Settings > Options)

TNT_TenantName: name of the Adobe Target tenant. This value corresponds to the name of the Adobe Target Client/ Clientcode.

You can find more details here:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-standard/using/integrating-with-adobe-cloud/working...

https://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/how-to/target-ac.html

I would also suggest to keep a different name for rawbox than target-global-mbox

Okay, can you please also check if the image is available in preview with different profiles? I would suggest to raise a support ticket so that they can validate if any provisioning/ enablement to be done for this Tenant

Same issue happens with Profile Preview.

I have actually reached out to the Partner Sandbox Support Team (spphelp@adobe.com).

Support has not been able to help or find the problem. We have been experiencing the issue for several months now. It seems we have hit a brick wall with this issue.

Not sure if it would really make any difference but you can change the rawbox name from target-global-mbox to something unique

I created a new Global Mbox called "vptest1" but it doesn't show up when I try to create a new Audience.

If I try to enter it manually, it complains.

@viragp64924055You can unselect the checkbox and provide the parameter manually. Parameter name should match with what you give in ACS as Additional decision parameter (Parameter is sent on mbox call from ACS). "Target Location (rawbox)" in ACS should be same as "Location 1" (you can type in as it will not appear in dropdown) in Activity in Target.

Hi, it didn't work. Here's what I did:

1) Deactivated Activity in AT

2) Modified Audience to uncheck "Search Parameter by Mbox"

3) Modified Activity to use "vptest1" in the Location 1 box

4) Saved and Activated the Activity in AT

5) Modified the Email Delivery in ACS to use "vptest1" in the Target Location (Rawbox)

6) Additional Decision Parameters already set to Name:Gender, Value: context/profile/gender

You haven't mentioned but I'm assuming in step 2, you've also added 'Gender' as the paramater. Are you getting the same error as before or different? If it's the same error to me it looks like an issue at Adobe's side. What did they reply in the support ticket that you raised?

So, I removed the "Additional Decision Parameters" in the Email Delivery in ACS, re-added it, and it worked.

It means there was a mismatch in the parameter names. Does it also work with target-global-mbox?

It doesn't work with the default "target-global-mbox" name. I tried switching to target-global-box on both ACS and Target and it didn't work. I switched it back to a custom name, vpathletic, and it worked again.

I'm so certain I had the parameter correctly configured. I even remember double, triple checking it and re-adding it to make sure it stuck. So not sure what happened there.

Also, now the Default Image specified in the ACS Email Delivery doesn't load in the email when the Gender of the recipient is not Male or Female.

Okay that’s what I thought that the global mbox would not work. Glad to know the solution worked for you.

Does image specified from ACS works for you in any other delivery (not linked to Target)? I’m suspecting none of the ACS images would be working.
