Data comes into Adobe Analytics after I have stopped the experience in Adobe Target

I am used to work with the Google universe and Google Optimize. After you have stopped an experiment in GO there is no longer any data reported into Google Analytics.

But Adobe Target keep sending in data to Adobe Analytics even if the experience is stopped. Why is this happening and how can there still be "impressions" and such counted when there is nothing to see after the experience is stopped?

Does anybody know why "impressions" and conversions still is calculated i Analytics? Is it because of cash and cookies?

Thank you

Hi Rebecca,

I suppose the explanation you are looking for is in this article under the sub-header "Why are Target metrics sent to Analytics even after the activity has been deactivated?

The linked article satisfies part of the question around why success conversions are still counted (90 Day Expiration)

I have a similar question, but unanswered is why Impressions are still being counted
The Activity in question was certainly set to Inactive and Archived, yet there is a small stream of impressions coming through daily. The volume (especially in the days immediately proceeding) is enough to make me ask

The linked A4T document says explicitly that Impressions should no longer be counted after the Activity is deactivated
