Hi @Umamaheswari_Yakkala!

@vishalchordia was able to weigh in on your Question here during his 9/8/21 Adobe Target Community Q&A Coffee Break!

His answer below:

Uma - I'm going to answer the questions in regards to AEP.

  • Adobe Experience Profile (AEP) provides an user interface to view a specific User profiles with all the attributes and Segments the user is part.
  • With AEP becoming the center point for all audience related acitivies, you could use the AEP to view the user's profile

Thank you

Hi @Umamaheswari_Yakkala  I would like to explain , hope this helps you in understanding.

When an online visitor (lets say "X") visits a page (target is implemented on the page) for the first time, the target image request is fired to the target edge server. The visitor profile of X gets stored at target edge also and experience B of an A/B Test is served to X.

Next time if the visitor comes to webpage within 14 days (default lifetime of an company's account), X will be treated as a returning visitor and he will served with the same experience B.

No, we cannot see the profile of the visitor in dashboard. However if you have defined any profile script then you can check if you as a visitor has qualified for that profile script by using mboxTrace in the url. The info about evaluated profiles is rendered under Preview.

I am sorry, perhaps I do not understand what you are looking for. Those APIs are how you look at the profile in question. You can look by using the tntid which is in the mbox cookie in the client browser or by using mbox3rdpartyid - if you implemented that item. You can also use debug tokens from the setup/implementation interface within Adobe Target. You will need to look at the omtrdc resposne network call in the browser and look at the mboxTrace object.
