How to Pin results in Search and Promote

Hi All,

We have a requirement in our project where we need to Pin certain result to Top of page, if user searches for certain term in Search and Promote. But it is not working as expected.

I have set pinned results under  Settings>Searching>Pinned Results

Does anyone have any idea, what am I missing here?

    The Out of the BOx functionality to Pin Results on top did not work.

    We were able to figure out a workaround via Business Rules.

      Hi, I am a long time S&P consultant who is currently working as a Product Manager on S&P.  Using a business rule to achieve the goal in the original post is actually how I would recommend to do it.

      With that said, I have used pinned results in the past and I would guess there was a configuration stopping it from working
