DTM Event rule for external links

Hi,

I am trying to load a DTM event based rule for external links.

For ex: anyone click on any anchor tag, it will execute a custom js

The problem if before the custom js for rule is loaded, it gets cancelled by browser.

The reason might be as external links loads a new page and all exiting actions on existing page are cancelled by browser.

Is there any way to prevent this.

Hi there! Thanks for your question - please answer the following questions so that we can better understand the issue:

(1) Are you using mbox.js or at.js? (are you using the mbox metrics and not the A4T integration?)

(2) Are you adding click-tracking for Target and not Analytics?

(3) Are you using the VEC for your activity such that you could use the VEC click-tracking?
