How can I get the Approved/Rejected Data from my Contest App?

Avatar

I have contest App that collected photo uploads which we moderated and approved/rejected based on content. Now that the contest and I export the data it doesn't include which entries were approved or rejected?  I need this information ASAP!

Hey Andrew,

Since moderation information is not something that is currently included in our export, you will need to get this information from the console in the App Builder. Just open your app, click on the Contests tab and adjust the toggle switches to show either all approved or show denied. I would recommend setting Show Rejected to Yes while leaving the other two toggles on No to view the rejected entries since there are less of them, and then adding a column to the existing export noting which entries were rejected. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Laurel

P.S. If you would like to submit an enhancement request to have moderation information included in exports please do so at ideas.omniture.com.

Isn't there a way for your team to pull the data?  I don't have the time to sit and go thru each entry and update one by one their status on a separate spreadsheet.  Let me know if you have a actual solution.

Hey Andrew,

I just asked our developers, but they said that they cannot do custom report pulls from the production database. Sorry!

Is it roughly the same situation as Andrew was in? Have you tried the steps that I suggested above? Please let me know more specifics so I can help you come up with a solution.
